Ra. This is the ritual for inducting a disciple into the mandala. This very secret scripture should be requested from the Vajra Acharya. To him, offer the best of gifts and make supplications. Just as the Vajra Sattva bestowed empowerment upon the kings of the past, please, with compassion, grant me all the empowerments, O virtuous one. Then, the Acharya, considering him fit as a vessel, seeing his faith and mastery of mantras, should bestow the empowerment. First, starting with deities such as the Namgyalma (Vijaya), gather the necessary items in a good conch bowl. Then, visualize that from the mantra of Vairochana, from the rays of light of the mandala in the heart, countless goddesses holding golden vases emerge from the sky, and with this, perform the empowerment. Also, pour this water from the conch bowl onto your own head and recite this mantra: Om Vajra Abhi Shin Cha. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) This is the water empowerment. Then, visualize the five Buddhas on the crown, holding silk ribbons, etc., and as before, the goddesses perform the empowerment, reciting the mantra and tying the crown. Om Vajra Vara Da Ka Vajra A Ra Le Hum. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) On top of that, recite the mantra of Vairochana and tie a garland of flowers. This is the empowerment of the crown and garland. Then, holding the vajra, have the disciple hold it with both hands. By the power of the Vajra of the Buddhas, you will receive empowerment today. This is all the Buddhas, holding the vajra for swift accomplishment. This is the vajra empowerment. Then, take the vajra bell in hand, and with this mantra: Om Vajra Adhi Pati Tvam. Abhi Shintsa Mi Tishta Vajra Samaya Tvam. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) Give the bell into the hand and say: The bell is the embodiment of all the Buddhas. The sound of ringing is wisdom itself. You should hold it firmly. The Buddhas say that this is unsurpassed Bodhi. Because all things are pure in nature, they are inherently non-existent. By the Bodhisattva who is pure in nature, sacred objects also become non-existent. This is the empowerment of the Lord. Then, place the hand on the head and empower: Om Vajra Sattva Tvam Abhi Shintsa Mi Vajra Nama Abhi Sheka Ta. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) Calling out: Hey, Vajra so-and-so, this is the empowerment of the Vajra name.

Grant it! Then perform the Vajra Vow, taking the vajra in hand. This is in the hand of Vajrasattva. May you always hold it. May the Vajra-hand Vow be firm. The disciple, holding the tip of the vajra, should recite this mantra: Om Sarva Tathagata Siddhi Vajra Samaya Tishtha Yesha Tvam Dharayami Vajra Sattva Hi Hi Hi Hi Hum. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་སིདྡྷི་བཛྲ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཏིཥྛ་ཡེ་ཥ་ཏྭཾ་དྷ་ར་ཡཱ་མི་བཛྲ་སཏྭ་ཧི་ཧི་ཧི་ཧི་ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ सर्व तथागत सिद्धि वज्र समय तिष्ठ येषा त्वं धरयामि वज्र सत्त्व हि हि हि हि हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ sarva tathāgata siddhi vajra samaya tiṣṭha yeṣa tvaṃ dharayāmi vajra sattva hi hi hi hi hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, all, thus-gone, accomplishment, vajra, samaya, abide, these, you, hold, I, vajra, sattva, hi hi hi hi, hum.) This is the Vajra Heart's austerity. The mantra practitioner who obtains this empowerment will accomplish whatever action he performs. All of these are wisdom empowerments. For the sake of benefiting sentient beings, the irreversible empowerment should be bestowed. Bestow the irreversible wheel empowerment. I will always be the teacher. (Tibetan: བདག་ནི་རྟག་ཏུ་སློབ་དཔོན་བགྱིད།) Pray in between these. Then, on top of various lotuses, make a lion throne, spread a cushion of silk and so on on top of it, place the disciple on top of it, and recite mantras to destroy obstacles. The disciple should be placed at the east gate, blessed with mantras and mudras, gather the implements for empowerment, and bestow the empowerment. Then, give one's own symbols, the wheel, the lotus, and the sword, into both hands, and say these words: Pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and so on, as well as severing, destroying, killing, expelling, summoning, and so on, do all actions from today onwards. In short, in all the worlds, for the benefit of all sentient beings, with various methods of taming, please turn the wheel of Dharma. This is the wheel empowerment. Then show the mirror: All dharmas are like reflections, pure and clear without defilement, ungraspable and unspeakable, arising from causes and actions, without inherent existence and without location. Having understood this Dharma in this way, perform unparalleled benefit for sentient beings, and be born as a son of the Buddha. Then, bless the bow and arrow with the syllable "Ho" (Tibetan: ཧོ་), and say: Please make all the Tathagatas rejoice. Have him shoot arrows in the four directions, and also have him shoot one each above and below. Then, taking a jewel or a gold needle, draw the syllable "Pra" (Tibetan: པྲ) in the disciple's two eyes, smear the eyes with the needle, and then say
