The various Vajra mudras are those of all Dharanis. Placing the Vajra palms at the heart, it is said to be the Vajra coquettish woman. Joining the palms at the crown of the head, it is proclaimed as the Vajra garland. Joining the palms and emitting from the mouth, it is said to be the Vajra singer. In the manner of dancing and striking, placing it around is the dance mudra. Pouring the lotus palms downwards is the incense mudra. Joining the palms and placing them on the crown of the head is the flower mudra. Pressing the thumbs to the heart is the lamp mudra. Fully extending and applying is the anointing mudra. The mudra of form is fully extending both hands upwards. Extending them near the ears is the sound mudra. The manner of arranging scents is the scent mudra. Joining the palms at the mouth is the taste mudra. The manner of touching the sky is the touch mudra. Joining the palms with hollow space, bending two fingers, making it like a jewel, is the Samantabhadra mudra. From the two vajra fists, the little fingers are knotted like a string of beads, and the index fingers are pressed down and extended, then reversed and placed on the forehead, which is the mudra of Hayagriva. The thumbs of both hands press down on the nails of the little fingers, and in the bend of the arms, they are placed in the manner of tying a vajra knot, which is the mudra of the nectar fire union. The vajra hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) mudra itself is the mudra of victory over the three realms. The vajra knot is tied inward, and the fingers are made to look like flames burning in the center, with the two thumbs extended, which is the mudra of flames burning like a vajra.
