Squeezing. Or squeezing the fingers, that is, squeezing on the back of the two thumbs. This is the vajra fist mudra. The mudras of the bodhisattvas have been explained. Now, the offering mudras are shown by "placing the thumbs flat on the heart" and so on. From that same vajra-bound mudra, if the two thumbs are extended and placed on the heart, it becomes the vajra-charming mudra. That same mudra is raised from the heart, extended forward, and grasped, it is the vajra-garland-mother mudra. Because it is both the palm and the tip, it is the tip of the palm, meaning the vajra palm. From there, it is drawn upwards and made into a gesture of speaking, and it will appear, it is the vajra-song-mother mudra. The vajra-binding is gradually released in front, and the two hands are circled in a charming manner, and the empty palms are joined and placed on the crown of the head, it becomes the vajra-dance mudra. The vajra-binding is poured downwards. It means that if the vajra-binding is turned downwards and then separated, it becomes the vajra-incense mudra. One's own palm is the palm of the vajra-binding, the vajra palm is born from the vajra-binding. "Flowers are scattered upwards" means that if the gesture of vajra scattering upwards is made, it becomes the vajra-flower-mother mudra. From that same vajra-binding, the two thumbs are aligned and erected, and it is said to be very tightly bound, meaning that they are well aligned and paired like the flame of a candle. This becomes the vajra-lamp-mother mudra. The vajra-bound mudra itself is fully extended and smeared, it becomes the smearing-mother mudra. When one becomes the image of a deity and makes offerings, that same vajra-binding is extended at the heart. If offerings are made to those who are outside the image of the deity, the mouth is turned outwards and released. This is the vajra-fragrance mudra. From that same vajra-binding, if the right index finger is bent, it becomes the vajra-hook mudra. The right thumb of the vajra-binding is inserted into the hole of the left thumb and index finger, and the two thumbs are tied into a knot.

It will become the lasso mudra. Vajra binding, that is, connecting the left thumb with the tip of the left index finger to form a circle, putting the right thumb into it, and connecting the right index finger with the tip to form a circle. In this way, the two thumbs and index fingers will be tied into a ring, which is the vajra iron chain mudra. The so-called "vajra binding, finger tips joined together" means that this vajra binding, placing the tips of the two thumbs between the little finger and the ring finger, with the finger tips joined together, is the meaning of "vajra binding, finger tips joined together", which is the vajra subduing mudra. As it was said before: "Mudra, accomplishment and actions, all will be truly declared." Among them, the method of forming mudras has been explained. Now it is necessary to explain accomplishment, so the words "thereafter" and so on are used to indicate. "Thereafter" means after that. "These" refers to the mentioned samaya mudras. "By this it can be accomplished, therefore it is called accomplishment", that is, by what method can these actions be accomplished, that is called accomplishment. "Saying" means showing. What is it? It is said to be "vajra accomplishment", because it is an accomplishment that is indestructible like a vajra. What is it like? Therefore it is said "it is supreme", supreme means the highest. What is that accomplishment? It is said to be "one's own mudra", one's own mudra is the mudra of Vajrasattva Mother, because it is placed in the heart. How do you know it is one's own mudra? It is of Vajrasattva. How do you know it? Because it is said "by the samadhi of Vajrasattva". Thus it is declared: After practicing Vajrasattva yoga, visualize a moon disc in one's own heart, and on it visualize a five-pronged vajra, and then first form all the samaya mudras. In this way, everything will be accomplished, this is the general ritual of all mudras. The previously promised "actions will all be truly declared", in order to show this, it is said "thereafter" and so on, that is, of any mudra

Whatever the activity is, it is called karma here. Because it is the karma spoken by the Vajra Holder, it is Vajra Karma. Or because it is the karma of the Vajras, it is Vajra Karma. That is also unsurpassed, the most excellent, meaning there is no other. The mudras such as the Vajradhatu, etc., mean that at first, because they are the mudras of the Vajradhatu mandala, etc., they are the Vajradhatu mudras, etc. What are they? They are the five mudras of the five Tathagatas. If those are bound, the Tathagatas will gather together and bless the mandala. Because the Acharya also writes for the benefit of the disciples, it is said that the mandala includes the Acharya and the disciples. After showing the common function of all the Tathagata mudras, now, in order to show the individual functions of the Bodhisattvas' mudras, it is said, "By binding the Heart Mother Vajra." The Heart Mother Vajra refers to the Vajra Mother of the Bodhisattva. Just as the Vajra of the Bodhisattva Vajra Mother is a five-pronged vajra, so also in the position of Vajrasattva, it is also a five-pronged vajra. The difference is that the Vajra Mother of the Bodhisattva is from the Vajra binding, with the two middle fingers placed side by side and raised. The mudra of Vajrasattva is not only from the Vajra binding, with the two middle fingers placed side by side and raised, but also the thumbs and little fingers of both hands are raised, possessing four prongs. Therefore, its function is explained, saying, "By binding this, one becomes like the Vajra Holder." It means that the practitioner becomes the same as Vajrasattva. By binding the Vajra Hook, all Buddhas are summoned from everywhere. It means summoning from everywhere at the same time, which is inviting. The Desire Vajra refers to the Vajra of Attachment. Its union is binding the Samaya mudra, by which even the perfect Buddhas are pleased. The word "also" includes the Bodhisattvas, the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and all sentient beings.
