Because of the manifest accumulation of the Vajra of wisdom, the iron hook of the Vajra nature is the Vajra hook, which means the hook of great compassion. Why is great compassion called a hook? Because for the benefit of all sentient beings, it can truly guide all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, therefore its work is also like this. 如果问还有比这更殊胜的吗？因为没有比这更殊胜的，所以说是最殊胜的，是“圣”的意思。修习密咒者如果修习铁钩大手印，就能成为引摄一切的最胜者。关于“金刚索的仪轨是”这句，“索”是指修习金刚索大手印的意思。“一切都能完全进入”是指诸佛和菩萨都能进入那个坛城，所以说一切都能完全进入，那（进入者）是谁呢？是修习密咒者。“能”是指能够成就的意思。因为安住于坛城的位置，自身所立的誓言就能显现，所以说是铁链，是束缚的意思。因为金刚智慧显现汇集而成的铁链，所以是金刚铁链。为了成就其意义，作为神祇的差别相，也称为金刚铁链。如果正确地结合并束缚其大手印，就能束缚一切。因为是金刚智慧显现汇集而成的降伏，所以是金刚降伏。为了成就它，作为神祇也称为金刚降伏。它的仪轨就是大手印，通过它来结合和束缚。 “一切降伏都能完全成就”，是指首先是诸佛和菩萨，（然后）能完全成就降伏一切如来之意。铃则是使一切欢喜之义。关于“四印的智慧应当修习”的说法，大手印已经讲完了。现在需要展示誓言印，因此为了展示它，所以说了“此后”等。 “此后”是指在那之后。既是如来也是一切，所以是“一切如来”。因为是从金刚智慧中产生的，所以是“一切如来的金刚”。 它们的誓言是誓词和法理，手的姿势这样变化，做这些事业，手的变化姿势，称为誓言印。

Because it is a chain formed by the manifestation and gathering of vajra wisdom, it is a vajra chain. To accomplish its meaning, as a distinction of the deity, it is also called a vajra chain. If one correctly combines and binds its great mudra, one will be able to bind all. Because it is a subjugation formed by the manifestation and gathering of vajra wisdom, it is a vajra subjugation. To accomplish it, as a deity, it is also called a vajra subjugation. Its ritual is the great mudra, through which one combines and binds. "All subjugation will be completely accomplished" means that first are the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, (and then) it means that one can completely accomplish the subjugation of all Tathagatas. The bell is the meaning of making all rejoice. Regarding the statement "the wisdom of the four mudras should be practiced," the great mudra has already been explained. Now it is necessary to show the samaya mudra, so in order to show it, it is said "thereafter" etc. "Thereafter" means after that. Being both Tathagata and all, so it is "all Tathagatas." Because it arises from vajra wisdom, it is "the vajra of all Tathagatas." Their samaya is the oath and the doctrine, the hand gestures change in this way, and these actions are performed. The way the hand gestures change is called the samaya mudra.
