Formerly, the supreme precious jewel, with love held in the heart, completely fills the treasury of glory. Friends, cherish this jewel. Thus he spoke. Bhikāla, who benefits sentient beings, said: Without a helmsman, the meaning of the supreme island of the ocean cannot be accomplished. Even if adorned with many qualities, without a lama, one cannot reach the end of existence. Thus he spoke. Kāpa, whose realization dawns like a carpenter, said: All things are of the nature of illusion, without true reliance, delusion vanishes. Seeing the faults of samsara, there is no self-nature. If the object to be abandoned is not found, the antidote is lost. Thus he spoke. Mojunutarī, who has mastered the wisdom of diligence, said: Samsara is not established, empty by its basis. Nirvana is not established, empty by mind. The bhumis and paths are not established, empty by truth. Fruition is not established, empty by object. Thus he spoke. Kanapa, who is free from the stain of hope and doubt, said: With no basis and no root, all dharmas are empty from the beginning, what is samsara, what is nirvana? Not seeing the fruit, practice is liberated. Thus he spoke. The yogini Gadara, who focuses on the mind, said: Just as with a tree of water and wood, when will it have its essence? It is clear at that time, the fruit is not seen elsewhere. Thus she spoke. Kanari, who has the eye of wisdom, said: It is not the blessing of external deities, but arises from the clarity of inner awareness. When grasping ceases, experience blazes. From the power of clear awareness, various arts arise. Thus he spoke. Vajrasiddhi, who possesses the patience to endure suffering, said: Impure realgar, external conditions do not enter, on the pure surface, it takes on the colors of various silks. The function of the mind is also the same. Thus he spoke. From the Vajra Song of Suchness Appearance, the chapter called "Analysis of the Shell of Ignorance" is the first. Tākanā, who carries letters on the path, said: The Buddha liberated from the four extremes, is without birth, death, or stain. Non-conceptual bliss-clarity, free from dualistic appearance, is the Great Seal. Thus he spoke. The yogini Huluka, who realizes self-liberation of thought, said: That which is unmade and uncorrupted, the undifferentiated dharmadhatu.
