Meditate. There are five companions: when the water element is dominant, it merges in taste with wind; when the wind element is dominant, it merges in taste with earth; when the earth element is dominant, it merges in taste with fire; when the fire element is dominant, it merges in taste with space. Among these, when the water element is dominant and awareness is heavy and trembling, then merge in taste with wind, examine appearances and rest in unbornness. Apply awareness to the wind and respect awareness. When the wind element is dominant and merges in taste with earth, then the co-emergent arises. Rest stably without going or coming, relax and rest in indivisible bliss and emptiness. When the earth element is dominant and there is great obstruction of body and mind, then merge in taste with fire, remember the tip of time, and merge in taste with bliss without inside or outside. When the fire element is dominant and awareness is joyful, and bliss is the main thing, then merge in taste with space, rest without thinking of anything, and without denying spontaneous behavior, let it be. There are seven annotations: Enjoying appearances as unborn is the limb of enjoyment; realizing appearance and emptiness as non-dual is the limb of union; experiencing bliss in non-duality is the limb of bliss; bliss and emptiness are inherently present from the beginning, arising whenever desired, is the limb of compassion arising as desired; bliss is inherently present in oneself, actually enjoyed, is the limb of things; this meaning is continuous like a river, is the limb of continuity; appearances are not obstructed, is the limb of non-obstruction. In meaning, appearances are not obstructed, and examination is not obstructed. There are three taste mergings: when experience diminishes, appearance merges in taste with bliss; when realization diminishes, appearance merges in taste with unbornness; when behavior diminishes, appearance merges in taste with non-attention. There are five practices of Mahamudra: view, meditation, practice, conduct, and inconceivable. There are three views: the view of cause, the view of seeing the fruit free from defilements, and the view free from affirmation and negation. There are three views of cause: the reason of Mahamudra, the reason of the fruit free from defilements, and the reason free from affirmation and negation. Mahamudra is reason, that is, Mahamudra. Mudra is the meaning of non-transgression, that is, mudra, and there are three, namely, the union of abiding, the union of pervasion, and the being.

Therefore, it does not go beyond union. Greatness is because it is the most excellent of the three, so it is great. Among them, there are two reasons for being free from defilements: being free from the defilements of the three moments and the three joys. The three above are: being free from the defilements of variety, complete maturation, and various transformations. The second is: being free from the defilements of joy, supreme joy, and joylessness. The reason for being free from affirmation and negation is: not establishing one's own view, nor refuting the views of others. There are three aspects to the state of view: examining the three hopes, possessing the five dharmas, and the spontaneous perfection of the four kayas. Examining the three hopes are: the hope of the antidote, the hope of suchness, and the hope of the fruit. The five dharmas are: unborn, without self-nature, all-pervading, all-temporal, and unchanging. The spontaneous perfection of the four kayas is: the awareness that is nothing whatsoever, free from superimposition and denigration, is the Dharmakaya. Experiencing that directly is the Sambhogakaya. That which appears in various forms is the Nirmanakaya. These three, inseparable, are the Svabhavikakaya. There are three aspects to the state of the Svabhavikakaya: the time of spontaneous accomplishment, the time of union, and the time of inconceivability. Among them, the time of spontaneous accomplishment is: being present from the beginning is gaining confidence, which is being free from hope and fear. Inconceivability is: practicing spontaneous accomplishment, so that the two, simultaneous and subsequent wisdoms, are continuously integrated, and there is no need to meditate, which is being free from the limits of wisdom. The time of union is: the time when appearances dissolve into the mind, that is the moment when the two form kayas appear. There are two aspects to meditation: first, examination, and then, practice. There are three aspects to examination: examining that all realizations arise dependent on other conditions, examining that which arises from conditions is also unborn, and examining that the unborn is also nothing whatsoever. There are three aspects to practice: first, being free from effort and fabrication, relaxing the body and mind; in the middle, without doubt, letting the mind rest without alteration; and finally, knowing that all arising sensations are empty. There are two aspects to practice: practice and the distinction of practice. There are three aspects to practice: all arising realizations are
