they will also enter into it. All of them desire to liberate themselves and are manifestly delighted in liberation for the sake of themselves alone. Moreover, they abide in meaningless asceticism that endures by dwelling and in those with minds of the sky. They are the basis of the Mahayana practitioners, but through analysis, they are merely land. I will show that liberation is not attained through the asceticism of foxes and dogs: They dwell naked. If liberation were attained through the asceticism of foxes and dogs, then the foxes and dogs of the charnel ground should also be liberated because of their similarity to you. The meaning of this is: The outsiders always dwell naked, placing their four limbs on the ground, dwelling like foxes and dogs, and practicing their asceticism. If one cannot be liberated by this, if one can be liberated by this, then the foxes and dogs of the charnel ground should also be liberated because of their similarity to you. The root of their error is that the great yogi Printira and two sisters smoked the eyes of the Tathagata's statue with rotten smoke, and entered the temple without taking off their shoes, so they were reborn as foxes and wild dogs of the charnel ground. They transferred from these rebirths and became the dakini Sugmes Laha and the great yogi Toktsewa Chenpo. Those called "fearless wandering Brahmins" saw them and adopted their asceticism. Those who follow are completely identical to this. Now, I will show that liberation is not attained through the asceticism of young women: They dwell on stone slabs. If liberation were attained through shaving hair and being young, then when young women go home, shaving the hair on their waists and plucking their pubic hair would also lead to liberation. The meaning of this is: They sit on clean stone slabs, dwelling in a cautious manner, and those who dwell in the king's house shave the hair of their bodies, wear headdresses, body ornaments, and limb ornaments, speak in a youthful manner, and also fan others with yak-tail fans. If liberation were attained through these, then the daughters of kings, Brahmins, and householders, when they reach adolescence, would adorn themselves with various youthful ornaments.
