"O dweller of the charnel ground, what power do you possess? Show me, and I shall see whether I will have faith or not." Thus it was said. The yogi said, "Great king, it has not been long since I entered these secret mantra vehicles, but even so, all the blood, pus, and water of my body turns into milk." The king said, "I shall see it." The yogi said, "Please come in about twenty days." Then he went to the charnel ground, and in order to prevent living creatures from entering the blood and pus of his body, he sat on top of a well-made field enclosure. He pierced his body with the tip of a birch tree, and blood and pus dripped out, and he drank the milk. Then, the four classes of dakinis protected those yogis, and the people of the world saw them as four monkeys. Then, for the sake of those, that king cut the yogi's body into pieces. Even though he cut them, blood and pus did not come out of them, only milk dripped out. Then, that king was amazed, and the yogi came to my place, and he abandoned all his kingdom and entered into samadhi. Then, in that very life, he obtained countless common siddhis. The heretic Halakaksha saw this and practiced their ways. Those who are close to them are those who follow them. Now, it is shown that one is not liberated by the asceticism of practice: 'The sound of a goose in the charnel ground by the wanderer, teaching and subduing others, expounding the Dharma, the essential meaning and not eliminating others, thus, due to manifest attachment, the wanderer is liberated as a falsehood.' The meaning of this is the practice of the heretical corpse-raisers, who, when begging for alms in the city, wander around with the sound of geese dwelling in the charnel ground. This is called 'Kangkaradang.' Furthermore, it is distinguished by the word of manifest desire: Kang is asceticism. Kara is the pride of the powerful. Dang is the offering to them. Thus, by showing that meaning to the people belonging to the great offering of Lika Ru, entering into the teachings of the heretics and subduing others is like the Dharma above. Others are not the Dharma, but the manifestation of non-Dharma.

Now, these are the essential meanings, and they do not reject other teachings of inner Buddhism. Thus, those non-Buddhist practitioners who are manifestly attached to the belief in self and what belongs to self cannot produce the fruit of meaning, because they are deceptive, so liberation is false. Now it is shown that externalists cannot be liberated by the asceticism of meditation: The non-Buddhist who practices meditation, Carries a bone bag filled with ash on his shoulder, Anoints himself with ash and loosens his hair when sleeping, Collects alms and blood droplets on his crown, Sits on a clean mat, And takes pride in Brahma. He worships the powerful one with a lamp of snake oil, Throws offerings in the corners and rings a bell. He sits cross-legged and closes his eyes, And deceives with meaningless words. He shows his lineage without hair or ornaments. He performs empowerment in the charnel ground of skulls. The pride of the guru is truly despicable. This shows that external asceticism generally does not lead to liberation. Meditation is the actual intention of the Buddha. Meditation without understanding this is doing the form of meditation, which is wrong understanding. The non-Buddhists who abide in these practices carry a bone bag (gune) on their shoulders, and the ashes from the cremation of a Brahmin's corpse are ere. These non-Buddhists fill the bone bag with ashes, and even when sleeping, they smear their bodies with ashes, loosen their hair from the crown of their head, and wear it on their bodies. They wander for alms in all the villages and charnel grounds, and apply droplets of blood and fat all over their bodies. They gather the braided hair with coils on the top of their heads. They draw the image of a horse on a mat woven from reeds and bamboo. They sit facing east on a very clean mat, soaked with sandalwood, saffron, and other fragrances, and take pride in the four-faced Brahma. Erang refers to a venomous snake. They light a lamp in a skull with their fat, and with it worship the great powerful one, whose support is made of stone and whose face is that of a god. In the eastern corner, they offer ten torma offerings each day. On the old charnel ground skull, they draw an eight-petaled lotus with the juice of the Terminalia chebula tree, and in the center they write the father of the world.
