All things are done for the sake of birth. Those who have not pleased them, no matter how much effort and toil they exert, will not succeed, and they hold such completely wrong views. Four, from what source do they err? In the great city of Varanasi, called Ligatana, there was a celibate yogi born into the Brahmin caste, named Singhapanaha, who relied on the Manjushri Brave Knowledge Banner Tantra, and in a manner that did not contradict those tantras, approached and practiced the asceticism of the Action Tantra and the Kriya Tantra. As the scripture says: "One should always be celibate, with bathing and cleanliness as one's abode, abandoning meat, alcohol, garlic, and onions. One should always practice the Brahmin's conduct, adorned with pearls and crystal threads, similarly, the head, feet, waist, the whole body should be wrapped. The mantras of gods and goddesses, and the recitation of Dharma and mantras, combined with celibacy, these eleven should be recited in four sessions. Abiding in the vajra posture, one should generate pride in the deity. Abandoning speech, laughter, distraction, and those who interrupt, one will surely attain accomplishment." Relying on these meanings to practice, he was born as the householder Victory Banner, where he possessed all enjoyments. Then, he passed away and was reborn in the Thirty-Three Heavens, where he saw himself reborn as a god named the Radiantly Blazing Halaksha. Erring from these are the heretical Leaf-Clad Mother sect, and a person named Lotanda approached that asceticism, and those who practice like him are his followers. Now it is revealed that the conduct of the heretical yogis in hermitages does not lead to liberation: The asceticism of some monkeys is that with earth, water, kusha grass, and beryl, they make cushions, food, and washing. They light sandalwood, saying it is steam, and torment their bodies with it. Performing fire offerings without meaning only harms the eyes with smoke. The meaning of these words is the mistaken ascetics. The meaning of 'monkey' is the terrifying place of the hermitage. The meaning of 'u' is the place where the heretical dakinis gather. The meaning of 'lala' is evil.

This is about the actions of engaging in meditation. Asceticism means abandoning ordinary behavior and entering into intense power, that is, using three piles of clean sand to scrub the empty spaces, lower part, and waist of the body. Entering into pure lakes, striving to bathe starting from the crown of the head. Making a mandala with the five substances of a cow, spreading auspicious kusha grass on top and sitting. Eating pleasant cow dung roots, eating in the form of a cow. Dwelling in bone houses, repeatedly using kusha grass mats, striving to eat cow dung, and bathing with earth and water. At noon, lighting sandalwood that has been fumigated with guggul incense. Fanning with many strips of cloth, blowing the smoke to the south. Ascetics bring their bodies close, saying that this is the breath from the mouth of the great god Ishvara.

After rebirth, the king was born as a mighty elephant. There, all the fully assembled sangha saw him going to the place of the vidyadharas without remainder of aggregates, attending the tsok khorlo. To them, those called "Kinti" among the heretics were deluded and entered those hermitages of ascetics. Holding their way of conduct is to follow them. Now, the heretical Samkhyas declare that one cannot be liberated. Holding the asceticism of monkeys is: The crown and the staff both exist, A sharp wooden stake is planted at the top. They say that dripping pus and blood destroys afflictions, The virtuous abide in pride. There is no obvious difference in pride. This refers to the asceticism of the heretical forest practitioners. The term "monkey" refers to the way of those who dwell in the trees. Asceticism refers to pretending to be indulgent and engaging in reliance on suffering. Specifically, in the dwelling places, the ground is well leveled, and then a large Takshana tree is erected on top of it. The branches are connected in a cross shape, like a wheel, and four monkeys are placed on the tips connecting the two staffs, and then standing on top of them. The very sharp wooden stakes are oiled and carefully inspected to make them sharp, and the tips are inserted into all the veins so that blood flows out. They say that the dripping of blood and pus destroys my afflictions. They measure the body every day with a sandalwood scale. Just as they have already gone there, they arrogantly believe that they are no different from the great auspicious deity. They proclaim that they possess all fruits and exhibit obvious arrogance, claiming that they are no different from the Buddha. So, from where does their delusion arise? In the land of Kangga in the south, the disciple of the teacher Tombe Heruka, the yogi Dhanyarupa, who can make wisdom abide in the mindstream, said to the great king Bavabayinda: Great king, you should fully engage in the mantra vehicle. Why? Because in this life you will possess great accomplishments. The king said:
