The yogi should be in a state of equalized meditation. This state should be recognized as the essence, and prajna should be practiced. Because the guru's instructions, like a supreme weapon, cut off the appearance of self-grasping, it is prajna. When the student realizes these instructions in their mind, the yogi who understands the meaning and realization is the fully enlightened Buddha, that is, the Dharmakaya. Thus, generosity, discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, and prajna, these ultimate essences, should be explained as the collection of all Dharmas. As it is said: Like a bird flying over the sea, it circles and circles, and finally lands on the boat again. The meaning of this sentence is that, in order to obtain precious jewels, a boat is prepared in the sea. In order to observe the signs of wisdom, seabirds are captured, lured with milk, and a fan with a banner is raised. However, those seabirds never leave the boat, they circle and circle, and finally land on the boat again. Likewise, in order to obtain the treasure of the Dharmakaya on the ocean-like guru's instructions, a boat of ordinary consciousness is prepared to manifest the body of the Mahamudra of Samsara and Nirvana. In order to make the memory continuous, lure it with the intellect like milk, and let the consciousness fly freely like a seabird, but it will eventually circle and circle, and return to its own essence. Now, the attachment to desirable qualities will be explained with such a metaphor. Do not be bound by attachment to objects! Alas! The ignorant one speaks with an arrow metaphor: Like fish, butterflies, elephants, bees, and deer, you should look at it like this. Like a fly tasting with attachment to rotten meat, like the pleasure of first tasting touch. Pervading emptiness with fragrance, like newly blooming flowers. Like running quickly to indistinguishable songs. The meaning of this sentence is that the yogi should not be bound by attachment to desirable qualities and the thought of separation. Therefore, for the sake of the rare meaning, all sentient beings in Samsara are called "Alas! Ignorant ones." What do they do? Listen to what is said with the arrow metaphor. What are they? Like fish attached to rotten meat, butterflies attached to touch, and elephants attached to the fragrance of black agarwood.

Just as a bee is attached to the color of a flower, and a deer is attached to a melodious song, you should look at the essence of things. If it is said that these are flawed, because attachment will obviously increase, thereby becoming the root of samsara, that is not the case. Just as a yogi tastes the flavor of a fish eagle, just as a yogi first abides in the bliss of body and mind, just as a pebble on the beach is attached to the pleasure of touch, just as an elephant is attached to smell, a yogi is not attached to pleasure, but is pervaded by the scent of emptiness, just as a bee is attached to color, a yogi should know that all phenomena of appearance and existence are the perfect flower of the Mahamudra Dharmakaya, just as a deer runs towards a song, a yogi should quickly run towards the song of indivisible bliss and emptiness. Now, the indivisibility of appearance and emptiness will be shown: Whatever appears as a manifestation in the mind, is the very nature of the protector. Are water and waves different? Samsara and Nirvana are the nature of the sky. The meaning of this is that any yogi, the mind appears as a manifestation in the mind, as long as it appears, one meets with the holy Guru, because that is the Suchness that cannot be distinguished from its nature. Therefore, the true nature is not like changing from other things. For example, in the great ocean of water, there are countless water and waves, but they are not different from the ocean itself. Therefore, since the essence is not different, the essence of samsara and the equality of Nirvana are pure by nature, like the essence of the sky. Now, its special power will be shown: Who proclaims, who hears, what is needed to protect the sacred Dharma? It sweeps away the hiding place of malice like dust, and disappears in the heart. The meaning of this is: What is the true meaning proclaimed by the holy Guru, and the necessity of the disciple hearing it? That is the sacred Dharma of ordinary wisdom, if they are protected by continuous mindfulness, then the malicious hiding place of conceptual thought will be swept away like dust. The realization of
