Those yogi heroes who have experienced it should examine and abide in equanimity. Now, I will show how to generate the power of diligence: 'Thinking only of today and tomorrow, O you who desire perfect men! Alas! Like filling your palms with water, do you see the water leaking, O men?' The meaning of this is: by understanding these essential meanings, one can attain enlightenment. Therefore, those men who are attached to names should generate the power of diligence and meditate. Because this life is short and entangled with many affairs, it is extremely difficult to become accustomed to it. Therefore, yogis should not only consider today and tomorrow, doing this and then seeking happiness. One should strive to practice from now on. For those lazy men who want happiness in the future, those who want to attain perfection, one should say 'Alas!' to them, like filling your palms with water, from that time until the water leaks out, just as the water is leaking, your life is also constantly flowing away, do you see it, O men?' Those who understand this should strive to practice diligently. Those who do not understand are foolish, they are always suffering and can only wander in samsara. Therefore, it is shown to abide in equanimity: 'Do what should be done, do not do what should not be done, if you are sure to understand, beings will not be bound. In the absence of letters, the mind of cessation enters, among a hundred yogis, how many see it?' The meaning of this is: what should be done, that is, all phenomena that appear as understood, what should not be done, that is, all phenomena that abide in the nature of the mind, are the original nature. If you are sure to understand these, then beings will be naturally liberated and will not be bound. Therefore, these are uncommon, 'ཏ་ཡཥྚ་ནི་' (Tibetan, Devanagari, Roman transliteration, literal Chinese meaning), this is a wordless term. Their meaning is to be free from the nature of the speaker and the spoken, to be liberated from both conditioned and unconditioned. What should be practiced is cessation, that is, ordinary consciousness. These will also enter into the mind of continuous mindfulness. Even if a lama gives instructions, these meanings are only suitable for those who are fortunate.

Because of this. Even if there are countless yogis who are merely nominally attached, it is impossible for even one to experience these meanings. Now, let's show its companion: That mind that is extremely profound, if placed in emptiness, will be liberated. By what ignorance is the face bound? The wise are completely liberated by it. Those who are bound by the ten directions, those who strive for liberation, at the very moment they are seen, will remain unmoving and unchanging. I have realized the inverted meaning. Child, you who take the essence, look at it in this way, confirming it for yourself. The meaning of this saying is that the minds of the beings of the three realms are like a pile of grass, the discriminations of discrimination are extremely profound and bound. Such a mind, if released by the nectar of the noble lama, will be naturally liberated. Those sentient beings who dwell in various kinds of ignorance, by what do they bind their minds? Those who have experienced the wise lama himself will be liberated. Those who are bound by various discriminations should abide in the mind with the nature of the five wisdoms and the five families, in ten aspects. Therefore, those who strive to be liberated from bondage by means of abandoning and abandoning, will be seen at the very moment of personal experience. At this time, the mind does not waver and does not shift to signs. It does not change, and is not suppressed by sudden circumstances. The meaning of abiding is that knowledge is extremely long-lasting and cannot be transformed. That is small-mindedness, and should exist together with bondage. Regarding this, the inverted meaning, I, the venerable ones, have realized. What are those? One should not transform attachment, because appearance and existence are the dharmakaya mahamudra, therefore it will not waver. One should not meditate relying on it, but without meditation, by truly abiding in ordinary knowledge, the distractions of inner and outer will not be able to cause harm. Thus, one should not regard knowledge that is immersed and prolonged as a virtue. No matter what it transforms into, having no attachment to it is the repeated strengthening of mindfulness, abiding in examination. Therefore, the venerable one
