Because it is the same and all times are accomplished in four ways, I am Isha (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Roman transliteration, literal Chinese meaning), the supreme one. To say that the lower ones do not attain liberation is unreasonable, it is indeed the right reason. Therefore, everything is devoid of means and also devoid of wisdom. Because it is ordinary consciousness and its lack of self-nature, it should be said that liberation is not attained. If one inclines to the meaning, one desires to obtain the fruit through practice. What is the reason for this statement? If one inclines and focuses on the view of ultimate meaning, then one also desires to obtain the supreme fruit through practicing the Brahma conduct. It is only exhausted in affirmation and negation, and it is not that itself. If one is free from duality and free from experience, then the meditation of the Shravakas and the inferior should be abandoned because there is no need for it. If one realizes the supreme meaning of the essence, what is the need for ghee offerings? If there is no duality, no rising and falling, then what is the need for practice, and mantras are not recited. With actions and deeds as the main thing, bathing in the water of the river platform, what is the need for original asceticism? If it is not related to that meaning, bathing and so on will not lead to liberation. The meaning of this statement is that if one abides in the non-duality of realizing the essence meaning and there is no rising and falling, then these practices should be rejected by implication, because they are bound by conceptual thoughts, so there is no need for these practices, and even if one practices, one should also be separated from that itself by implication. Among them, "if one" refers to the special individuals who are the basis. "Non-duality" refers to ordinary consciousness itself. "Experience" refers to clarity, non-conceptuality, and bliss. "Separation" refers to the experience of non-experience, which is nothing in itself. For those who possess that self-nature, the asceticism of the heretical ascetics, and the practice of the inferior Shravakas, possessing view, meditation, and the meditation of affirmation and negation of Vijnanavada and Madhyamaka, should be abandoned because there is no need for it, because realizing this supreme meaning of the essence, if conceptual thoughts are reversed, then Buddhahood cannot be achieved. What is the need for ghee lamps, flowers, incense, perfume, offerings, etc., because there is nothing to be accomplished. If there is no duality and it does not depart from it, and there is no difference in rising and falling, then generosity and so on.

What is the use of actions, since they are meaningless? Mantras are not recited either, since there is no attainment of fruit. Actions such as pleasing the lama, and activities such as gatherings, which are the main things, are like sitting on a platform where water flows. What is the use of bathing in water and practicing cleanliness, and the asceticism and austerities of fasting, since those themselves are binding? That is not like a complete severance, but since it ceases naturally, it is not like something deliberately accomplished. Therefore, if it is not related to the meaning of suchness, then bathing and the actions mentioned above will not lead to liberation, but if it is related, it will become meaningful, which should be understood from the natural course. If someone asks, should this also be done for those who have no realization, have arising and ceasing, and are unrelated to meaning? The first karma's person, he will experience it, before non-realization do not abandon it, realization is the natural path. The meaning of this is that for the person of the first karma, those who have great fortune, having approached through the instructions of the supreme person, the form of experiencing suchness, although not separate from suchness, is not suchness until it becomes the non-dual space, so it should not be abandoned before non-realization. After realization, those accumulations of merit are also the great equal path of the natural essence of the mind. From what power of which instruction do these arise? They arise from the union of wisdom and compassion. They should not be regarded as existing separately, but the indivisible essence should be revealed. If compassion is lacking, then emptiness will not become the essence of realization, and after abandoning the supreme path, one will surely abide in the ground of the Hearers. If one only cultivates compassion, the body and mind will become exhausted, there is no difference from the heretics, it should be known as the work of the demon. Whatever supreme person who is able to unite the two, abandoning samsara and nirvana, will manifest in the non-abiding realm. The meaning of this is that emptiness lacking compassion should also be regarded as the work of the demon. Compassion lacking emptiness should also be regarded as the work of the demon. Non-dual
