That which is adorned with speech is that which is closely approached by valid cognition; for those without the nature of wisdom, the essence of that is closely shown, which is the collection of contradictions closely gathered and made clear. Thus, the teacher of the Yogacara school, the supreme one who possesses the self-awareness of clear taste, by abandoning existence, the great essence of valid cognition is also different in this auspicious one. Thus, the only one who eliminates mutual contradictions is another teaching. May the victorious son who realizes the bond of glorious union be victorious! Thus, for what reason will those who abandon the Madhyamaka school abide well? Those who accomplish the Madhyamaka will abide well in the aspect of means until the cycle of existence is not interrupted. They will also abide well in the aspect of effortless wisdom through unborn emptiness. Like the practice of Yungwa and the Vajra Chain, that reality called union is the essence of things and non-things. Thus, the Blessed One said: The essence of things and non-things, completely abandoning things and non-things. So it is said. What Nagarjuna said: Transcending both things and non-things, how do some think they have not transcended? It is not knowledge, it is not knowable, it is not existence, it is not non-existence, what is it? It is not one, it is not non-dual, it is not both, it is not both, it is not abiding, it is not clear, it is not thinking, it is not seeing, it is not birth, it is not destruction, it is not cessation, it is not permanence, it is like the sky. Wisdom is not the object of wisdom, because of what arises dependently, therefore you consider it emptiness. The essence of the sacred Dharma is thus, the Tathagata is the same as it. The ultimate truth of that is established in accordance with thatness. The meaning of truth without deception, realizing that is called Buddha. The Buddhas and the realm of sentient beings, there is no difference in that meaning. Self and others are also like this, therefore you consider it equal. So it is said. Here, only the way of abiding is shown slightly, but the suchness of union should also be clearly understood from the oral instructions of the noble Lama. Now, having shown the essence of suchness, and from the previously shown essence of Madhyamaka, the nature of Bodhi

In order to indicate proximity, it is said, "This thing is born of Bodhi, it is the nature of being free from attachment." What is called "this" is the well-known direct perception. "Thing" refers to the nature of the five aggregates. So, how can "thing," which arises from untrue conceptualization and is the cycle of the nature of conceptualization, become Bodhi? As it is said, "Arising from untrue conceptualization, the thing is the nature of conceptualization, children are all of foolish wisdom, this is what is said in samsara." Therefore, it is said, "free from attachment," some call the object of grasping and the grasper attachment. Others say that only conceptualization is called attachment. As it is said, "Whether it is good or non-virtuous, whatever different conceptualizations there are, sandalwood and so on truly arise, and become the burning of fire." Therefore, neither of the two is attachment here. Therefore, it is said, "nature itself," which is the nature of something existing or not existing, and so on. What is clung to by this is the present clinging. Having abandoned these, because of emptiness in the object of grasping and the grasper, and because there is no attachment of the nature of conceptualization, therefore "that" is what is thought. "Thing" is dependent arising, which is to be obtained from the collection, and that is either conceptualization or non-conceptualization, all is Bodhi. As it is said, in the presence of the venerable Lama himself: "That which is born from reliance, when examined, is actually empty, the thing is neither existent nor empty, it is self-nature. It is not annihilation, mind itself is various, this is one self-nature. May the five victorious ones, such as form, become victorious ones! This very conceptualization is dependent arising, it is not the meditation of connection. That itself is Nirvana, do not be deluded by the mind. Conceptualization is like a connection, abide as in bliss." And so on. If that self-nature is not the attachment of all, from what will it arise? Therefore, it is said, "From attachment arises delusion," delusion is one's own fabrication. Attachment is present clinging. Delusion is existence and non-existence.
