It is not existence. When dwelling together with dreams, It is not due to prior prevention. Because there is no nature of knowing, It is not contrary to awareness itself. Because of the general reasoning, It is the way of speaking the sacred Dharma. The various things that can function in the conventional, Are not like pus. That is the knower and the knowable themselves, What should I fully examine? The appearances of forms and so on separately, That is in the various consciousnesses, Thus, like a means of establishing, Those with wisdom will not fail to establish with reason. In the conventional, it is birth, That is the meaning of no birth. Therefore, the unborn mind, Is like that because of no self-nature. Existence is because birth is established. Because there is existence, there is also no non-existence. Because there is no cause of things, It is not born from another nature. Just as an image appears, Form is neither true nor false. That is all phenomena, The nature is the rule of awareness. The assembled city and clothes, etc., What is made is a conventional thing. This is because self-nature is unborn, The assembly itself is also like that. Therefore, the Bhagavan himself, Said that these beings are only names. All these things said by others, I have spoken well. The view is what was said earlier, This is extremely important wisdom. After dispelling his wisdom, I have explained my own view. Like an image in a mirror, Abandoning one and other. There is nothing other than appearance, Thus is the nature of things. The world is like illusion, like a dream, Abandoning cause and condition. Appearing constantly and impermanently, Therefore, it does not enter into conceptual thought. In what things do not exist, One should understand that it is only mind. Like a mind without things, It is not reasonable to be only mind. With the difference of grasper and grasped, If the mind exists, These minds of worldly people, It is not reasonable to be only mind. The body, enjoyment, and senses, If they arise like a dream, The mind will become two, The nature of mind is not two. Because like the edge of a sword, Like one's own fingertip, Cannot cut and cannot touch, Thus, the mind itself is self-appearing. Like an image.

The mind that appears as such, through the intellect accustomed to it beforehand, sees how things arise in various ways. The appearance of things is not real. Persons, causes, and aggregates, likewise conditions and particles, the chief, the powerful creator, are all analyzed in the presence of the Mind-Only school. Seeing external objects is a mistake; it is the mind itself without any other object. Having examined the mind with reason, grasping and being grasped are prevented. If analyzed by intelligence, its nature cannot be definitely grasped. Therefore, it is inexpressible, and thus it is shown that there is no thing. If the mind is analyzed by intelligence, if there is no other-dependence and no complete imputation, if there is no thoroughly established non-existence, how can it be analyzed by intelligence? There is no self-nature and no activity; the basis of non-existence is also not existent. Because its power is like a phantom, these are analyzed by bad reasoning. The characteristics of things are all consciousness. From whatever inverted movement, after my bodies have passed away, one acts with non-conceptualization. Likewise, suchness and the limit of emptiness, nirvana and the realm of phenomena, all the unborn phenomena are the nature of the ultimate meaning. External objects, existent and non-existent, are not completely grasped by the mind. Whatever abandons all views is the characteristic of unbornness. Because there is a cause for assembly, there will be entry and reversal. When the assemblies are separate, there is no birth and no cessation. Existent and non-existent things are not born; the mind is neither existent nor non-existent. Because from the combination of actions and others, there is no entry and no reversal. When all these worlds are seen as the nature of assembly, this mere assembly is then equally present in the mind. Because there is no slight birth in anything, there is no slight negation. It is neither existent nor non-existent; this conduct is seen as inexpressible. If one fully understands the union, the Bodhisattva has great compassion. The wise should not abandon even the conventional truth, but should practice it. Because if the conventional is destroyed, therefore there is nothing ultimately. Whatever is born from the conventional is the true meaning of unbornness. This is the characteristic of union, the characteristic of arising from conditions. Likewise, suchness and the realm of phenomena, the Perfection of Wisdom.
