Therefore, I will faithfully recite the mantra of the Wrathful Victorious King of Knowledge, draw a mandala with deities, and relate to the complete number of burnt offerings of flowers and sesame seeds. Moreover, I will add the mantra to deceive death itself at the end, and if done with mindfulness, it will surely be averted. What is similar to this? Three pimples on the palate, a mole on the tip of the tongue, blood flowing from the vajra path, two discharges and one breath at the same time, and a scab appearing on the top of the mountain. These are definite internal signs of death. It is said that "similar to this" refers to the signs of death that are similar to the previous one. If one wonders what it is like, it is said: Three pimples on the palate. This means that if three pimples the size of mustard seeds appear in the middle of the palate, or if three appear in a cluster, it is also an internal sign of death, and it should be recognized at the time of death. Similarly, the method of averting death will also be mentioned below, so it should be recognized. Furthermore, if a black mole the size of the heartwood of a Duruka flower appears on the tip of the tongue, it should also be recognized as an internal sign of death, and the time and aversion are the same as before.
