These are the empowerments of the Five Mothers. Next, the explanation of the Sixteen Bodhisattvas will be given. Thinking that the four Bodhisattvas of the East have bestowed empowerment and that the accomplishment of immortal life has been obtained, place the vase on the crown and say these words: Four Akshobhya Bodhisattvas of the East, resembling the color of blue lapis lazuli, holding a five-pronged vajra in the right hand, and holding a vase of life in the left, filled with life and nectar, please grant all life empowerments here. The mantra is mainly that of Akshobhya. Four Ratnasambhava Bodhisattvas of the South, resembling the color of pure gold, holding a burning jewel in the right hand, and holding a vase of life in the left, filled with life and nectar, please grant all life empowerments here. Four Padma Bodhisattvas of the West, resembling the color of red lotus, holding a five-petaled lotus in the right hand, and holding a vase of life in the left, filled with life and nectar, please grant all life empowerments here. Four Karma Bodhisattvas of the North, resembling the color of Indra blue, holding a crossed vajra in the right hand, and holding a vase of life in the left, filled with life and nectar, please grant all life empowerments here. Then, when explaining that very nature, from the (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：hrīḥ) syllable in the heart of oneself and the disciple, and from the east of the mandala, transform a white iron hook goddess, from one to ten, from ten to a hundred, and so on, many immeasurable ones, and perform the activity of pacifying diseases and evil spirits of all self and others. Especially, from the hand of the eastern Gandharva, hook back the diminished, decreased, and exhausted lifespan of oneself, and infuse it into the disciple, thinking that all diseases and evil spirits are pacified and lifespan is increased, and place the vase on the crown of the head, and recite: Eastern white pacifying deity, Gandharva's place hooks lifespan, Pacifying diseases and evil spirits, Grant me the empowerment today. The (藏文：ཡད་，梵文天城体：यद्，梵文罗马拟音：yad，汉语字面意思：yad) seed syllable, and from the north, transform many bell goddesses, cut off diseases and evil spirits, hook lifespan from the hand of the Yaksha and infuse it, and recite: Northern green wrathful deity, Hook lifespan from the hand of the Yaksha, Cutting off all diseases and evil spirits, Grant me the empowerment today. By this, the four mothers are made messengers and the empowerment is given. Thus, by bestowing these four empowerments, purify afflictions, attain the accomplishment of immortality, and in that state, think of oneself as the chief father and mother. Then, to stabilize that, and as a symbol of empowerment, the five families should adorn the head, that is, place the vase on the crown of the head and generate the main father and mother. From that, red rays of light dissolve into the body, thereby desire is purified, and individual discriminating awareness arises in the continuum, and thinking that the head is adorned with Amitabha, after desire is completely purified, the head is adorned with Amitabha, individual discriminating awareness
