Also, food without husks, milk and rice, and food made by mixing meat and sugar should be placed. Then, the practitioner, with the pride of a deity, on top of the lotus that arises from the letters in the water of the vessels, again, from the colors of the respective letters, imagines the water deities of their respective colors, possessing the raised posture of snake heads, each holding a lasso and an Utpala flower in their hands. Then, from one's own heart, rays of light that correspond to the respective directions emanate, and one should visualize inviting water deities from the four directions who are similar to the previous form of the water deity. Recite: Om Varuna Deva Datta Akarshaya Jah Hum Vam Hoh. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བ་རུ་ཎ་དེ་བ་དཱདྟ་ཨཱ་ཀཪྵ་ཡ་ཛཿཧཱུཾ་བཾ་ཧོཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐवरुणदेवदत्तआकर्षयजःहुँवं होः, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ varuṇadeva datta ākarṣaya jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Water God, God-given, Attract, Ya, Tza, Hum, Va, Hoh.) Then, scatter flowers in the offering vessels, and visualize that those water deities become inseparable from the previously visualized water deity, and reside on a lotus seat in the ocean of milk. Then, burn good incense and scatter it in the four directions as well. Light butter lamps made from clarified butter in the four directions, and sprinkle perfume mixed with white sandalwood in all directions. Then, first scatter flowers, and offer with the secret mantra Om Varuna Deva Datta Ya Svaha. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བ་རུ་ཎ་དེ་བ་དཱ་ཏྟཱ་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐवरुणदेवदत्तायस्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ varuṇadeva dattāya svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Water God, God-given, Ya, Svaha.) Visualize that a great garden of flowers is formed in the ocean of milk. By offering incense with the same secret mantra, visualize that clouds of the nature of jewels are formed in that place. Then, scatter it on the livestock with the same secret mantra, and as nectar rain falls from that cloud, visualize that they generate great joy and satisfaction. Similarly, by offering butter lamps, visualize that a wish-fulfilling jewel, a precious gem blazing with light, abides on the crown of the head, and is free from the fear of Garuda. Similarly, by offering the white three and the sweet three, etc., with the same secret mantra, visualize that they become a collection of desired qualities that correspond to the respective substances, and are pleased. Then, scatter flowers into the water, and say: Great water deity, please know! All water is your nature, and may all the offerings I make to the water, along with all your retinue, be pleased, and may you also be pleased with us and grant us accomplishments. Then, again, from one's own heart, rays of wisdom light...
