It is a fierce activity, possessing the name of expulsion and destruction, therefore possessing three or four activities, one will be liberated. Except for those situations that have been done well and cannot be restored, all others will be completely liberated. The signs of being possessed by spirits are like this: If someone's complexion, thoughts, and behavior are different from their previous state, whether they become more beautiful or uglier, their thoughts become virtuous or evil, their behavior is proper or improper, if there is no change caused by other factors, it should be known that they are possessed by spirits. Furthermore, beings will also be invaded by spirits due to the basis of disease, which will make the disease even more serious. Spirits will also harm beings through arrangement, enticement, contact, or revenge, so one should begin to perform the ritual to be liberated from them. Spirits are also divided into three types according to food: those who like clean food such as milk; those who like meat and blood; and those who like various foods. Those spirits who like water and earth, such as dragons, like clean food. If they are possessed by them, there will be symptoms such as coldness, numbness and stiffness of the body and limbs, heavy disease, and weakness of body and mind. First, one should pacify them with water and earth homa and clean torma. Those who like to live in cemeteries and like meat and blood, such as Tai Ma Mo and Lha Bu, cause fever and heaviness of mind and body. For these, one should first please them with peaceful burnt offerings and torma, and then please them with meat burnt offerings and blood-containing torma. Those who like various abodes and like various foods, such as Yakshas, beings, and corpses, cause various sudden illnesses. For these, one should please them with burnt offerings and torma of various foods. For those who are possessed by dragon spirits, if they want to be liberated through dragon homa and milk torma, they should take water and soil from lakes, ponds, springs, pools, wells, and various rivers. Then mix all these waters with gems, etc.

Mix those soils with white guggul and various auspicious medicines into tsampa, make various images of dragons as they are known, and put them into the water. Then, place a water vessel on the stamen of a mandala made in the shape of a white lotus. Also place good food such as rice porridge, and tormas mixed with milk and medicine. In addition, arrange offerings such as blue flowers, and offering substances mixed with milk and medicine, as before. Bathe yourself well, wear clean clothes, and rub your hands with fragrance. First, with the yoga of your own deity, first visualize the water deity, invite them, and make offerings as before. Then, also make offerings to your own deity, and after that, make offerings to all the dragons. The mantra for offering to the dragons is the same as before. After that, pour medicine, grains, flowers, incense, and jewels into the milk, offer a full pouring, and recite the secret mantra.
