This should be done accordingly. Then, one should also possess protection. This is a brief summary of the samadhi of the bathing ritual. The ritual of eating food is divided into two types: external and internal. Among them, the external is not for the sake of enjoying with craving and attachment, but for the sake of maintaining the body, for the benefit of oneself and others, one should generate the thought of increasing great merit. One should eat any food that is without fault. The internal is to make offerings with the blessed nectar of samaya substances. Among them, for the time being, this ritual is that the food vessel should be blessed as a lotus vessel. Food is contemplated as the nature of the five samaya meats such as humans, and the five samaya nectars such as Illuminating Light. Bless it as having the nature of wisdom nectar, possessing the nature of body, speech, and mind, arising various desirable qualities, and possessing virtues. Or, contemplate the various foods as food formed from the Buddhas who have passed away transforming into light. Contemplate the various drinks as nectar to be drunk formed from the realms transforming into light. Thus, with the taste of inseparable great bliss, bless it as having the power to please everything. Among them, bless oneself as the mandala of the deity, and also contemplate the tongue and hands as the nature of making offerings with the body of a snake. Or, the five fingers of the hand are the nature of the five families, the mandala in the center of the palm is the palace where the Buddhas reside. Taking the food in hand is enjoying the vast gathering, it is the first samadhi of offering. Then, the mouth is the palace of liberation, the tongue is the true wisdom of all the Buddhas, eating food is the Bodhicitta, experiencing the characteristic of tasting non-discriminating taste, is the offering of enjoyment, thus it is the second offering. Then, the abdomen together with the senses is one's own deity's mandala, satisfying it with food is constantly offering one's own deity's mandala, dissolving and disappearing is that all dharmas are pure from the beginning of being unborn, thus, every fine particle of food

Even a single offering can become three offerings, and a single offering, if endowed with the two aspects of Bodhicitta, will serve the benefit of oneself and others, and will perfect both merit and wisdom. Therefore, it is said to be a vast and unsurpassed offering. It should be understood that various samadhis of eating are also gathered here. When eating food, there are four mudras: the Garuda mudra purifies poisons and blesses as nectar; the invitation mudra invites all the Buddhas to the Ganachakra; the lotus mudra enjoys the Ganachakra; and the farewell mudra requests the Buddhas to return to their respective abodes after the offering is completed. The Garuda mudra is made by touching the tips of the thumb and forefinger, forming a beak like that of a Garuda, and extending the remaining fingers like the head of a snake. This removes all poisons and bestows nectar, and is called the Garuda mudra. Here, place the mudra above the food and recite the secret mantra of one's own deity, or the secret mantra of Vajra Amrita, or the mantras of the Goddesses, or the mantra of intrinsic purity, or the secret mantra of Vajra Garuda himself, and it will be blessed. Alternatively, one can bless everything with the essence of the Suchness of all the deities, which is Om Ah Hum. The essence of Garuda is: Om Vajra Garuda Amrite Hum Phat The invitation mudra is made by crossing the wrists at the heart with the fingers of both hands waving, snapping the fingers three times, and then clapping the palms of peace. The lotus mudra is made by joining the palms together at the base, touching the inner sides of the thumbs and little fingers, and spreading the remaining fingers like an open lotus. With this mudra, one holds the food container and eats and gives. The farewell mudra is made by waving the fingers of both hands outwards. With this, one makes the farewell to the deities. When engaging in various external activities, one should benefit others through the samadhi of one's own deity.
