May he bestow abundantly with that. Then, holding vows and offering gifts, prostrate and pray with these words: O Bodhi Vajra Buddha, just as the great offering was made, may you grant me the Vajra of Space for the sake of my complete deliverance. At the entrance, an eight-petaled lotus, having been covered with silk, reside. With auspicious verses, songs, and sounds, and the tinkling of vajra bells, all the protectors manifestly, like a sesame pod filled to the brim, the Victorious One, having held the vase, by bestowing empowerment upon that very one, contemplate that very mandala as wisdom. Water and head ornament as before, bestow the vajra bell with these words: In the nature of wisdom and means, this accomplished vajra bell, may you hold it well with faith. May you gather disciples with the vajra. Bestow the name as before. Then the guru speaks these words: The great sword of all the Buddhas, which all three realms prostrate to, the sole supreme sword of action, seize victory over the maras. The mandala shows suchness, being square for the sake of equality, closely placed and rightly abandoned. Miraculous feet and faculties, the four gates in order. The four meditations are the horse's resting place, the four samadhis are the openings. That is the nature of the support dharani. For the sake of taming all beings, in the directional gates, the sound of the bell moved by the wind resounds. For the sake of the purity of the limbs of enlightenment, adorn with nets, half-nets, and so forth. The pillars possessing eight liberations, the beautiful ornaments, for the sake of fulfilling all thoughts, for the sake of the ultimate end of various actions, various palaces, blazing vajras. For the sake of turning the great vehicle wheel, completely surrounded by a vajra garland. For the sake of liberating the minds of sentient beings, the colors are the five wisdoms. For the sake of perfecting the two noble assemblies, a skull cup filled with bodhicitta. Incense, flowers, lamps, and food, and ointments, etc., are fame, limbs of enlightenment, joy, dharma food, and bodily bliss. Shame, modesty, and vows, are the sounds and dances that generate bliss. The palace is where the Buddhas reside, the mandala is for answering the essence. The suchness of the deity is to be shown, faith, diligence, and mindfulness.
