The outer courtyard is the inner courtyard and the outer courtyard of the main mandala. It should be known that the yogi of Vajrakila should know it as follows: The main mandala is characterized by being pleasing and well-decorated, and the outer courtyard is without the shadow of the palace, and it does not have a special support, so it is not specially decorated with ornaments, and it is free from ugliness. The inner courtyard is called "abandoned" because it does not have a dependent deity. The door sill is equal to the size of the door, so it is called "only knowing the door." The god's banner is the surrounding area where the door guardian resides, and the size of the door is also the same. The others refer to being abandoned empty in the great courtyard, and it is said that its size is equal to the door. Vajra Goddess is Rupavajra and so on. What is called "the place of possession" is the mirror of the door sill, the lute, the incense burner, the bowl filled with porridge, the heavenly garment Pancalika, etc., held by those who possess song and dance. What is its position? It is called "offering," which is the facade. The eaves are the left and right sides of the roof. What is also called "limit" is the outside of the door sill, that is, the source of the offering. Just that much refers to two small parts. The necklace is the outer layer of the rosary. Semoto is the inner layer. The sun and moon are the supreme foundation. The flower garland is the root from which it hangs. There is the horse fall, and the clothes are burning like flags on the left and right sides of the horse fall. The pennants are two decorations on the horse fall. The root ground is the last of the three parts, which is the outer Vajrakila. The painted cloth behind its line is the basis of Panjara, and half of it refers to half of the facade. Then the practice of the mandala was explained. It says: With this great essence, the self-wheel is perfectly established, and there also relies on the self-seal, and the words of the vow are put in, thus the mandala should be practiced. Among them, "there" refers to the mandala of the external support. "Essence" is the mantra, and "great" is the root mantra of each deity. "By this" means by its power. "Self" is the mandala of

Is the master. The wheel refers to ignorance and so on. The so-called "complete joy" means arising from within and rejoicing outwardly. How are those within perfected? The so-called "there" means that the two yogis have gone ahead. One's own mudra is the lotus of Vajravarahi, the realm of self-appearance. The so-called "support" means that in the place where the pavilions are stacked, the wheel of the mandala manifests and transforms. What is the cause of its growth? The so-called "samaya letter" is the seed of the wisdom being's heart, the letter "ཡ". The so-called "putting in" means expanding, gathering, and reporting. From where do those arise? They arise from the parents' symbols, blessed by the shape of E-VAM (Tibetan, Devanagari: एवं, Romanized Sanskrit: evaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: thus). From the meaning symbolized by that, the co-emergent wisdom itself is born. From that itself, what is born and abides is the mandala of bodhicitta. The so-called "thus" means accomplishing the mandala of the four yogas. Similarly, in the glorious Guhyasamaja it is said: "The mandala is observed in three ways." What is said is the mandala of bhaga (Tibetan, Devanagari: भग, Romanized Sanskrit: bhaga, literal Chinese meaning: Bhagavat) wisdom, the mandala of bodhicitta, and the mandala of the body, which should be known as these three. The colors of the mandala are spoken of: white in the east, etc., which represent pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, subjugating, and unchanging nature. Then the signs should be established, and the mudra should be established on them. After seeing the ritual of action, the mudra should be constantly established, and that mudra itself should be constantly written. The so-called "on this" refers to the mandala that is written purely. The mudra is the sign of the deity. Establishing means as is appropriate. The ritual of action means after seeing the ritual of recitation and accomplishment. Constantly, with the great mudra yoga, one should meditate on the wheel that is equal to space. The nature of that mudra is the blessing of the sign, and the so-called "constantly writing" means writing the mandala until that time. Its distinctions are spoken of: in that mandala, write the vajra, which means ten fingers. The wheel in the east is the Dharma wheel. Such things and so on refer to the nine parts of jewels, the eight-petaled lotus, and the flaming sword, etc.
