That is the meaning. Although without discrimination, it is also wonderful to accomplish the benefit of oneself and others. Having spoken of the suchness of the nature of all dharmas, it is also said to be a great wonder of non-understanding. Although the suchness of all dharmas has come to abide as such, it is also a great wonder to wander in samsara. If, in the ultimate sense, it is wonderful to view the perfection of the meaning of nature, then how is it in the conventional sense? It is said: 'Alas! This is not complete.' Among others, what is the fault? The faults of body, speech, and mind are the cause of samsara, so they are faults, which are the nature of the collection of afflictions such as desire. What is called its merit is considered a merit for the sake of accomplishing the ultimate meaning. Because of familiarity, it is a merit, which is the nature of the ten powers and fearlessness, etc. What is called transformation is the meaning of arising. The meaning is this: with a mind fully embraced by wisdom and skillful means, one can transform faults into the nature of merit, which is also very wonderful. It is also said: 'Like in the salty sea, if a drop of water is put in, it will turn into saltiness, and if it is put in milk, it will turn into nectar.' As it is said. In the Sutra of Praising Morality, it is also said: 'An unwise person, even if he commits a small sin, will go to a lower place. A wise person, even if he commits a great sin, can avoid its harm. Even a small iron ball will sink to the bottom of the water, but if it is made into a vessel, it will float on top.' As it is said. Having shown the suchness of such dharmas, it is best to show the abandonment of all discriminations, that is, to say that it is not real. It becomes real in the place of arising. That meaning of not arising, that is, it cannot arise from self, other, or both. Among them, in the first case, if that arises from that, there is no difference at all. If a seed arises from a seed, there will be no sprouts, etc. Or, has the seed itself turned into the nature of the sprout? No, because the shape, color, taste, and function of the sprout that have not changed are not different from the sprout, so it is not a sprout. Or, has the previous nature of the seed been completely abandoned?
