and the heart, and the throat, contemplate one lotus seat each in these four places. "Fire" means on top of the lotus in the navel, contemplate a triangular red fire mandala generated from the syllable (Tibetan: རཾ, Devanagari: ram, Romanized Sanskrit: ram, Literal meaning: ram), marked with the seed syllable (Tibetan: རཾ, Devanagari: ram, Romanized Sanskrit: ram, Literal meaning: ram) in the center. Similarly, "Wind" means on the seat of the secret lotus, contemplate a crescent-shaped blue wind mandala generated from the syllable (Tibetan: ཡཾ, Devanagari: yam, Romanized Sanskrit: yam, Literal meaning: yam), marked with the letter (Tibetan: ཡཾ, Devanagari: yam, Romanized Sanskrit: yam, Literal meaning: yam) in the center. "Great Power" means on the lotus in the heart, contemplate the square-shaped yellow mandala of great power generated from the letter (Tibetan: ལཾ, Devanagari: lam, Romanized Sanskrit: lam, Literal meaning: lam), marked with the letter (Tibetan: ལཾ, Devanagari: lam, Romanized Sanskrit: lam, Literal meaning: lam) in the center. "Water is the same" means on the lotus in the throat, contemplate the round white water mandala generated from the letter (Tibetan: བཾ, Devanagari: vam, Romanized Sanskrit: vam, Literal meaning: vam), marked with the letter (Tibetan: བཾ, Devanagari: vam, Romanized Sanskrit: vam, Literal meaning: vam) in the center. The function of these is explained: "Wind makes the fire burn," meaning the wind mandala from the secret place blows on the fire mandala. "Water makes it fully ripen," meaning because the heat of the great power mandala arises, all food ripens in the water mandala of the throat. Only its meaning is explained: "Arising from the great power mandala." Then how does the heat of the great power arise? "Where the fire is moved," meaning the light of the fire mandala touches the great power mandala. Thus, the order of the mandalas not shown in the tantra is for the purpose of relying on the oral instructions of the guru, and to subdue the pride of the wise. The qualities of these are explained, the letter (Tibetan: ར, Devanagari: ra, Romanized Sanskrit: ra, Literal meaning: ra) etc., is easy to understand. The burnt offerings are explained: "Whatever food and drink," here "whatever food" refers to the food of the yogi, including both clean and unclean, taken together. Among them, clean food refers to rice porridge, yogurt, and brown sugar, etc., because worldly people consider them clean. Unclean food refers to the nine meats and five elixirs, etc., because worldly people consider them unclean. "Drink" refers to alcohol and milk, etc. All of these are in water, meaning these foods and drinks should be burned and offered in the water mandala, this is a summary statement. "The letter (Tibetan: ཀྵ, should be Sanskrit: kṣa) facing downwards in the lotus," meaning the water mandala on top of the lotus in the throat.

Above, the letter Ṣ (Tibetan: ཀྵ) is white in color, facing downwards, with light blazing like butter, and is visualized in a covering manner. Those burnt offerings also descend from the water mandala and are placed in the lotus of the heart. It is said to go to the lotus of the navel. So how is the burning to be done? Outwardly, by combining in the manner of union. It means that outwardly, burning is done by combining skillful means and wisdom. Also, for outward burning, just as one visualizes the deity of manifest enlightenment. Combining the visualization of the deity with the mandala of the body, this is a summary word for burning. As soon as it reaches the secret lotus, it is completely manifested at the edge of the ashes. It means that the nectar of those burnt offerings satisfies the deity of the body's mandala, and one should visualize the dross being burned away, this is a summary word. The qualities are spoken of, those are the explanations of burning oneself. And so on, where "self" refers to the teacher. Accomplishment will occur in this very life. It means that by making offerings to the special pure land of the Tathagata, and having a special intention, one will see the Dharma in this very life and it will become the fruit of experience. As it is said in the Abhidharmakosha: From the specialness of the field and intention, there is the fruit of seeing the Dharma. From "without cracks" to "may all sentient beings rejoice," it is easy to understand. Merely seeing causes arousal. It means that when that yogi is merely seen by other sentient beings, all worldly people will become attached, this is a summary word. Likewise, the ritual of offering is also. The answer is given: After explaining the activities of burning. And so on, where "goddess" is a term of respect for Tara. Offering refers to inner offering, which is respect. Garland refers to a garland of flowers. The word "etc." refers to taking a butter lamp. The rest is easy to understand. After the two faculties are fully joined. This refers to the secret offering, which is the play of skillful means and wisdom. If one asks, to whom should one offer with those offerings? One should make offerings to myself. It means that one should make offerings only to one's own body, this is a summary word. Why not make offerings to the holy images, stupas, etc.? It is said: I am all.
