One should meditate. Moreover, the Tathāgata and ordinary beings, with the nature of being non-dual with Suchness, are without inequality, therefore they are four-sided. Similarly, the body, feelings, mind, and dharmas, by being united by being apart from one and many, whatever branch, merely entering into various branches, this body is separated from grasping and so on, with a separated mind, completely remembering, abiding nearby, therefore, body, feelings, mind, dharmas, the four called the four mindfulnesses are completely pure, it is the eastern gate. Abandoning the arisen and unarisen unwholesome, in order not to arise; arising and unarisen wholesome, in order to arise and abide, gradually initiating, completely guarding and distinguishing, and diligently striving, the four exertions called completely pure, is the second, that is, the southern gate. Desire, effort, mind, conduct, that is, the four legs of miraculous power are completely pure, it is the third, the western gate. Faith, effort, mindfulness, concentration, wisdom, the five faculties are completely pure, it is the fourth, the northern gate. Initial thought, discernment, joy, bliss, one-pointedness of mind, that is, the first dhyana of five branches, and the inner self is extremely pure, joy, bliss, one-pointedness of mind, that is, the second dhyana endowed with four branches, and equanimity, mindfulness, clear knowing, bliss, one-pointedness of mind, that is, the third dhyana endowed with five branches, and equanimity completely pure, mindfulness completely pure, without the feeling of suffering and bliss, and one-pointedness of mind, that is, the fourth dhyana endowed with four branches, thus successively the four dhyanas are completely pure, are the four chariots. The samadhi of Heroic Progress, Treasury of Space, Immaculate, and Lion's Play are completely pure, completely surrounded by four doorknobs, similarly, patience and dharma, and the form taken of meaning and mantra, the assembly of goddesses completely pure, holding various kinds of offerings in their hands, abiding in the doorknob, and the inexhaustible jewels that fulfill the various thoughts of all beings.

Grounds adorned with various ornaments, and arising from the power of those to be tamed, proclaimed through sutras and vinaya, prophecies, verses, self-utterances, parables, birth stories, and extensive sections, the sacred Dharma of the nine-part scriptures, universally proclaimed, the sound of various bells at the tip of the banner, moved by the wind. Wisdom itself is clear, like a mirror, even to the mirror. The self-nature of mindfulness, and, the thorough distinction of Dharma, joy, extreme pliancy, samadhi, diligence, equanimity, the seven branches of enlightenment with completely pure characteristics, and so on, and the perfect flowers, the completely pure net and half-net, the moon, the moon, the sun, the mirror, the garland of flowers, and possessing a burning flame. Seeing forms with form is the first liberation. Internally perceiving no form, and seeing external forms, this is the second. The liberation from ugliness, having realized it with the body, perfected and abiding, this is the third. The sphere of infinite space is the fourth. The sphere of infinite consciousness is the fifth. The sphere of nothingness is the sixth. The sphere of neither perception nor non-perception is the seventh. The cessation of feeling and perception is the eighth. Thus, the eight liberations, from the Mother of the Victorious Ones, seeing forms with form, that is emptiness (Tibetan: སྟོང་བ་ཉིད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: शून्यता, Sanskrit Romanization: shunyata, Chinese literal meaning: emptiness), signlessness (Tibetan: མཚན་མ་མེད་པ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अनिमित्त, Sanskrit Romanization: animitta, Chinese literal meaning: signlessness), wishlessness (Tibetan: སྨོན་པ་མེད་པ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अप्रणिहित, Sanskrit Romanization: apraṇihita, Chinese literal meaning: wishlessness) in form, this is the first liberation. And from that very place, the cessation of feeling and perception, with emptiness (Tibetan: སྟོང་བ་ཉིད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: शून्यता, Sanskrit Romanization: shunyata, Chinese literal meaning: emptiness), signlessness (Tibetan: མཚན་མ་མེད་པ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अनिमित्त, Sanskrit Romanization: animitta, Chinese literal meaning: signlessness), wishlessness (Tibetan: སྨོན་པ་མེད་པ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अप्रणिहित, Sanskrit Romanization: apraṇihita, Chinese literal meaning: wishlessness) in form, having subdued and seen it, this is the eighth liberation. Also, this is the great explanation of Glorious Supreme First, spoken by the venerable Kunga Nyingpo. The purity of these eight liberations is that they are adorned in sequence by the eight pillars of wheels and so on, and all Buddhas are without interruption.

Turning the wheel of Dharma in the Vajra manner, with a complete circle of Vajra garlands on top of eight pillars, without any inversion for forms and so on, possessing the five desirable qualities that are unsurpassed and limitless, adorned with the five offerings of the utterly pure realm of Dharma, although showing no difference from all sentient beings, it is not stained by the faults of belonging to them, with various lotus seats complete with stems, beautifully adorned with the nineteen abodes of the gods, dispelling the darkness belonging to the continuum of all sentient beings and completely drying up the mire of the ten non-virtues, making the sprouts of Bodhicitta fully ripen, therefore possessing the seven sun seats of the essence of wisdom, similarly, pacifying the suffering of all sentient beings, and causing the sprouts of the roots of virtue to grow, therefore possessing the twelve moon seats of the essence of great compassion, abiding on various lotus seats, moistened with compassion, and adorned with full vases for the sake of perfecting the accumulation of merit and wisdom, being the essence of the five wisdoms, therefore a multi-storied mansion made of five colors. Since these are pure, one should contemplate one's own mind as such a form. Then, in the center of that vase, on the moon seat, generating the thirty-two major marks of a great person, formed from two rows of sixteen vowel letters, doubled in direct and reverse order, contemplate the moon of wisdom of the two self-minds, the essence of wisdom. On top of that, generating the eighty minor marks, in the center of the sixty-four clarifying letters beginning with 'ka', one row of sixteen vowel letters resides, formed from the eighty complete letters, contemplate the two moon mandalas of the essence of great compassion. One should view these two moons as the pure manifestation of the mirror-like wisdom, transformed from the Alaya-consciousness, and by uniting these two, one can transform the afflicted mind.
