Therefore, wishing to enter that city, one should know that all phenomena are merely conceptual consciousness. Similarly, in other sutras as well, it is said: "Without inherent existence, there is no consciousness; there are no objects, and there is no basis. Unskilled people are like corpses; children analyze these." And so on. The Blessed One also said in the Lankavatara Sutra: "Therefore, all things are established as without inherent existence." It is also said in the same sutra: "The ultimate truth spoken by others, these things have no inherent existence. With the nature of one and many, there is no attainment, like a reflection." And so on, many kinds are spoken in this and that. Thus, even if one knows that all phenomena are merely conceptual consciousness, it is not reasonable to conceive of samsara and nirvana as two. Why is that? Because the dharma of samsara does not exist. In the root tantra, it is also said: "In short, the five aggregates are renowned as the five Buddhas. The vajra body is also the mandala of the Bodhisattvas." It is said that earth is called eye, and the water element is Mamaki Mamaki), white and Tara, non-existence and wind are proclaimed. So it is said. Then, is this thing that appears in existence and is able to function not samsara? If it does not exist, then where is nirvana? Therefore, the great lama said: "By clinging to self and what belongs to self, samsara is merely imputed. By its nature of reversed essence, it should be known as the essence beyond all." Thus, it is not asserted that there is any worldly dharma at all, but it is merely a reversed imputation. What is that? Clinging to permanence and so on is the suffering of samsara. For example, it is like a snake on a rope, appearing as non-existent. The great lama also said: "From the conceptual thoughts that appear like illusions, the suffering of samsara is not found elsewhere." Therefore, in order to reverse that, the profound and truly clear mandala is spoken of here. Thus, in the great yogi tantra called "Glorious Wisdom Vajra, Collected from All," it says: "Secret Lord, the snake of the rope..."

That is not existent. However, due to dimness, it appears as such. Anyone who abandons dimness and examines will see a rope and have no other meaning. Secret Lord, similarly, for permanence, etc., whatever appears as form, etc., that is not existent. However, it is due to the imprints of clinging to form, etc. Some individuals, following the path I have shown and reversing those imprints, will see permanence, etc., and will not notice anything else, because it is said that way. Therefore, since that is nonexistent, all of this is a profound and easily correct mandala. Among these, what is profound? The cause of self-arising, afflictions, etc., and what is primordially separate, invisible, and unchanging. What is correctly clear? Through it, the perfect existence, the condition that shows others, all that appears as the great mudra that obstructs samsara and nirvana. Therefore, a noble person who wishes to be clear in that essence should enter and realize the stages of the path as taught in the Guhyasamaja Great Yoga Tantra, through the sequence of the four yogas. That sequence is transmitted from the guru's presence, and I will differentiate it slightly. That sequence is as follows: First, a yogi who has abandoned the eight worldly dharmas, without the fault of fear of gatherings, possessing great compassion and the qualities arising from it, pleases any of the noble gurus, enters either of the two mandalas that are complete in ritual, and having obtained the vase, secret, and wisdom-gnosis empowerments, practices the secret and the supremely secret, etc., in sequence. In the place where it is taught, one should first gather what is appropriate to do. From the beginning of the four sessions, starting with purifying the door at dawn, etc., until the ultimate desire, the yogi who has completed the wheel of the mandala, having done thigles, subtle elements, and recitations, begins to gather the wheel. Thus, the yogi who has perfected the three samadhis, other limbs such as making aspirations and keeping vows, etc.
