The mantra of the wheel, such as bum (བུཾ, Devanagari: vum, Romanized Sanskrit: vum, literal meaning: seed syllable), or solely visualizing with mam (མཾ, Devanagari: mam, Romanized Sanskrit: mam, literal meaning: seed syllable), thus it is said. Then, whatever the essence of one's own food and drink, like the essence of bodhicitta, like water, and purified in sequence by wind and so on. Universally blazing with light, that is, cooling it with Om (ཨོཾ, Devanagari: oṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal meaning: Om) endowed with five rays. All things are equality itself, food purified by the non-dual mind. To this, purify it by consecrating it with the three 'thatness'. Meditate on the vajra on one's own tongue, and meditate on the lord on the crown of the head. Therefore, the body vajra and so on, that is, to satisfy the deities of the heart's mandala, this is the meaning. Those foods and drinks should also be regarded as the five amritas and five lamps. Purified by the fire of wisdom, therefore it is different from the external. Therefore, the stomach with the fire of wisdom, truly purified, is better than the external. Thus it is said. The yogi's enjoyment of food itself is a fire offering, therefore discussing the ritual of fire offering, starting from 'external' and so on. The so-called external fire offering refers to the stove, ladle, ghee, and food, etc., because it relies on the external. It is only slightly mentioned, because here it is written from the perspective of meditation, fearing it would be cumbersome, so its ritual is not shown. It should be inferred from chapter sixteen. The so-called 'born from mind' refers to the inner, that is, the samadhi of eating food, the so-called aggregates, etc., refer to the aggregates, sense bases, and elements, because they are material, so they are firewood. And 'that itself is kindling the fire of wisdom', that is, burning with the non-dual fire of wisdom, because it burns the ordinary things like aggregates, it is called unsurpassed. This is not explained in detail. Therefore, this treatise speaks of the three fire offerings: external, internal, and unsurpassed. Now it is to summarize the above, starting from 'to summarize' and so on. The sequence as mentioned above, that is, wishing to regard form and so on, or other things, as inseparable from the profound and clear image of the deities, and make offerings, that is, for the sake of hearing. Since all things do not disappear from such an offering, it is a vow.

Yes, the Tathagatas think so. Therefore, it is said: For all the enjoyments of desires, if you want to show them as you wish, then with your own deity's yoga, offer to yourself and others. Those ascetic vows, even if practiced, will not be accomplished. Therefore, the essence of offerings such as form is the cause of benefit, and the Shravakas and others are forbidden because they fall due to the arising of attachment to form and so on. If it is not like that, there is no essence other than the mind, so the mind itself is the mandala, as said above the wheel-turning king, there is no essence to be offered by other Ishvaras and so on, so the Shravakas are too attached to external objects, unskilled in means, and do not understand the suchness of all things. Therefore, it is said: O monks, the discipline of the eyes is good. And so on, the scriptures say. Knowing the suchness of all things and being very firm, skilled in means, and being taken care of by a supreme virtuous friend, after understanding the three forms, one can give alms to the gods. By enjoying all desires, if one can be happy, one can attain enlightenment. Otherwise, one will die untimely and will surely be burned in hell. Intolerable ascetic vows will make the body of sentient beings wither. Suffering will distract the mind, and distraction will transfer accomplishments to other places. For those who have means and wisdom, there is nothing that cannot be done. At any time, do not cling to reality, enjoy the five qualities of desire. In this way, one can purify the body with happiness, and the purification of the body can make one capable of meditation, and the stability of meditation can lead to true knowledge, so the scriptures allow the enjoyment of desires. Now, in order to show that the actions of body and speech are completely pure, it is said that following awareness and so on. Following awareness means that after rising from meditation, one acts with the aim of benefiting sentient beings by teaching the Dharma and so on with equanimity. In addition, abiding in equanimity with following awareness, one should contemplate offering to the Tathagatas with external offerings such as flowers. Knowing the actions of body and so on is divided into ordinary and special. Ordinary refers to general walking, sitting, and lying down. Special refers to killing and so on. Both of these should be constant and continuous.
