It is able to completely cut off from the root. The sins that have been committed are extremely hateful. Through confession, they can be lessened. Through thorough confession and vowing to uphold the precepts, I say that they can be uprooted from the root. Thus it is said. To be free from all faults from that is to rejoice in merit, etc., which will increase merit. For example, if seeds are sown in a well-cultivated field, they will grow; if saffron and other dyes are applied to well-washed clothes, they will appear very bright. Similarly, if one performs virtuous deeds without sin, they will be accomplished without any obstacles. Therefore, the confession of sins is first proclaimed, starting from "beginningless" and so on. The beginningless and endless river of existence, that is, in the continuation of samsara, the faults of all discriminations that appear in the form of self and what belongs to me, etc., that is, all the sins that have been accumulated and created, are confessed in front of the Buddhas who have great compassion. The so-called "properly" means that out of fear of the lower realms, one prostrates with one's head at the feet of the guru and those worthy of offering, etc., and holds flowers in the palms of one's hands. Others explain that the meaning of the word "properly" is that offerings, etc., precede it, but this is not reasonable, because it is explicitly stated that "with various clouds of offerings, etc., as a preliminary." This is the view of others. From the meanings included in the word "etc.," the rejoicing in merit is temporarily proclaimed, starting from "perfectly complete Buddha," etc. Perfectly complete Buddha is the Tathagata such as Vairochana, etc. Bodhisattva is Kshitigarbha, etc. The Holy One is the Holy Heruka, etc. These are because the words Buddha and Bodhisattva are not used in the tantras, but the word Holy One is used, as it is said, "Warrior Holy Heruka." Others are Herukas, etc., from other tantras, because these are used in all three forms. Here are the classifications and things of the Buddhas, etc.

No, because they are the nature of Vajradhara. The Blessed One also said that the Blessed One himself is abiding in the eastern moon. There is only a difference in name, because all names are established based on it. Others, the complete Buddha is the one who has attained true and complete enlightenment. The Bodhisattva is the one who abides in the grounds such as the Joyful Ground, and strives for true and complete enlightenment. The noble ones are those who have entered the stream, etc., the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, etc. Others are those who have great faith in the Buddha, those who perform virtuous deeds, and whatever virtuous roots they have done are the path. The so-called true dedication begins with rejoicing in the supreme faith. The so-called "remainder" refers to the virtue generated from rejoicing, meaning equal to or possessing rejoicing. By truly rejoicing in the virtuous root of perfect aspiration, merit will increase, because for good and evil, the mind is the most important. Therefore, the virtues associated with rejoicing are truly dedicated to complete enlightenment, meaning to be the cause of complete enlightenment. Taking refuge in the Three Jewels, the accumulated collection of merit cannot be taken away by all others, so first the refuge in the Buddha is declared, which is "the beauty of the mind" and so on. "The beauty of the mind" refers to the precious mind that is free from all faults. It eliminates the darkness of ignorance of beings, and is like the moon, therefore it is the stainless moon, meaning the wisdom of the extremely pure nature. Being truly connected with this and well adorned, preventing superimposition, making the ultimate nature appear, perfectly accomplished, is infinite, that is, the supreme love that pervades all sentient beings and has no attachment. It itself is the cause of the benefit of oneself and others, therefore it is the means, and having it brings happiness.

Those vehicles are called as such. It means the nature of skillful means and wisdom. Taking refuge in them is connected in this way. Furthermore, expressing it in a special way means "abiding in one's own mind." Because the taste is the same in emptiness, it means the nature that is inseparable from one's own mind. The so-called "constant" refers to time without limit, until forever. What is said about taking refuge in the Dharma refers to "from all discriminations" and so on. Connected with the Dharma that is definitely liberated and severed from all discriminations of characteristics such as what is grasped and what grasps, is taking supreme refuge. If asked what kind of Dharma it is, it is said "sentient beings" and so on. The supreme sentient beings are the Bodhisattvas. Becoming the ultimate Bodhi of those who have perfected the accumulation of merit, is the basis of all of them. Because Bodhisattvas attain all perfections by meditating on the suchness of the Dharma as it is. The nature of all things being of the same taste means that, in general, because there is no difference merely in realization, it is the nature of the equality of all things. What is said about taking refuge in the Sangha refers to "bondage" and so on. Whoever realizes the true meaning, severs the bonds of desire, hatred, and ignorance, accomplishes it with supreme compassion, that is, possesses the entrusted wealth, and is perfect in the benefit of oneself and others, and whoever is very joyful and so on. Abiding in the ultimate nine grounds of excellent wisdom such as great joy, because the tenth ground of Bodhisattvas is only the Buddha, and not the perfectly complete Buddha. The so-called "assembly of those who strive in discipline and are powerful," striving in discipline refers to the Shravakas and so on. Those powerful ones are the Bodhisattvas, I take refuge in those Sanghas, it is connected in this way. Furthermore, although the Buddhas and so on are not different in that nature, the reason why taking refuge in the Buddhas and so on is expressed differently here is merely due to the intentions of sentient beings. It is also said: The moon in the water of many vessels.
