This is also said of small-mindedness. And the protective wheel of great-mindedness will be explained by this very thing. The letter Hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), etc., has been clearly explained by Bhadrapāda (བཟང་པོའི་ཞབས). Other protective wheels that are mentioned are not explained because they are not followed by Jñānapāda (ཡེ་ཤེས་ཞབས) and revered by the wise. Now, to explain the meaning of the multi-storied palace, it is said, 'There (དེར་ནི་),' etc. Abiding within the Dharmodaya (ཆོས་འབྱུང་), the various Padma Vajra (པདྨའི་རྡོ་རྗེ་) there, one should especially meditate on the multi-storied palace with the characteristics as described, thus connecting them. The letter Bhūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) and the wheel generated by it, that is, the Vairocana with awareness born and arisen from it, is the Vairocana with self-manifesting wisdom, the consort of Vairocana with the letter Bhūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) and the wheel, is its branch, that is, born and perfected from it. 'Various lights pervade all the directional wheels, possessing the mandala of the blazing Thubwang.' Among them, the blazing Thubwang is the collection of mandalas of Vairocana and others. Its various, that is, the light with various colors and forms, those lights pervade the directional wheels, that is, possessing the collection of directions, that is the mandala of the blazing Thubwang, possessing the characteristic of pervading all directions with various lights. 'Because there is no inequality,' etc., because it is equal in the Dharmatā of Buddhahood and non-Buddhahood, it is square. Bhadrapāda (བཟང་པོ་ཞབས) also said, 'Because Buddha and non-Buddha are equal, because there is no inequality, it is square.' 'The supreme of the four doors of mindfulness and power,' etc., mindfulness is the establishment of mindfulness on the body, etc. This should also be seen as closely representing the four right abandonments and the four legs of miraculous power. Power is faith, etc. The power with objects such as mindfulness is the power of mindfulness. Those themselves that have become completely pure are the four doors, the most supreme of those doors is the most excellent. The meaning is this: the body, feelings, mind, and dharmas, etc.

Because it is not reasonable to be one, etc. What is called "mindfulness," which is the nature of wisdom arising from hearing, thinking, and meditating, is transformed into three aspects. Those are also the preliminary of being the cause of entering the Dharma, so it is merely faith. There, whatever is faith, its purity is the eastern gate. The Good Foot also said: Body, feeling, mind, and Dharma, are not reasonable to be one or many, etc. That mindfulness, in that, and whatever, is desired to be the meaning of the eastern gate, etc. Thus it is said. Some say that the nature of body, feeling, mind, and Dharma is the elements and what is transformed from the elements. Whatever is said like this is not reasonable. This nature is not possessed by feeling and mind, because feeling and mind are neither the nature of the four great elements such as earth, nor the nature transformed from the four great elements such as form. If it is admitted that these are the nature transformed from the four great elements, then it should be understood that the fault spoken by Dignāga of the great elements being sentient beings will occur. Moreover, it also contradicts the promised tenet, because in the tenet it is promised to be dependently originated things. If it is promised that the four great elements are sentient beings, then it will be prohibited. If it is prohibited, then all the rituals such as accomplishing virtuous deeds and meditating to prevent non-virtuous deeds will be prohibited. Furthermore, when thinking about the profound Dharma, the beautiful view and conduct of the other shore will not become a monk. Therefore, examination is sufficient. Also, the general characteristics he himself said are impermanence and selflessness, etc., because these two characteristics are not reasonable to be one, etc. Saying this is also extremely meaningless, and does not follow the meaning. For example, what is called impermanence is the nature of not abiding in the second moment, etc., and it itself is not coarse, because coarse is considered to have parts. For it, if one hand, etc., shakes, everything will shake, etc., the fault of abiding in contradictory phenomena will occur. Similarly, this cannot become the true meaning, because like this
