And, seeing all dharmas as being free from arising, and all dharmas as being empty in nature, this is the power of wisdom. The "horse seats" of the four dhyanas refer to the four dhyanas themselves transforming into four horse seats. A horse seat is a decoration with pillars outside a palace. Among them, the fruits of the four dhyanas are the four horse seats. Seeing the faults of desire, due to arising, one develops attachment to the pleasure of desire and becomes detached, possessing the nature of single-pointed concentration, this is the first. Without examination itself, focusing on the qualities of being free from attachment to desire, the mind focuses on single-pointed concentration, this is the second. The detachment from desire of a pure mind is the third. The detachment from desire of breathing in, breathing out, and the pleasure of the body is the fourth dhyana. Among them, possessing the waves of investigation and analysis is the first. Joy and happiness are the second. Being tormented by the fear of declining from happiness is the third. Becoming of a single taste is the fourth, as it is said. Surrounded by the outer walls of samadhi, it means that the samadhis themselves are the outer walls, and those samadhis completely surround and completely cover, that is, completely surround from the four directions. Among them, the mind and mental factors are equal, and that is samadhi, which is the single-pointed concentration of the mind. The outer wall is the form of a step outside the wall. Those samadhis, such as Courageous Going, Treasury of Space, Immaculate, and Lion's Play, etc., which were previously practiced in the bodhisattva stage, their fruits are the outer walls, this is the meaning to be expressed. Relying well on the outer wall, etc., on the outer wall means on those four outer walls, the collection of dharanis that hold the excellent offerings, which are well relied upon and abide. Dharani is meaning, scripture, definitive word, and everything, that is, holding one's own nature from all afflictions and purifications, etc., and the difference of reciting the mind that has an unspeakable function. Those themselves are holding offerings, and should be visualized in the mandala, that is, songs and dances, etc.

Music and dance, as well as praises, etc., flowers and incense, fragrances and lamps, and offerings of food, etc., holding all the distinctions of enjoyment, and possessing various charming postures, one should visualize having a face, hands, and hand gestures. When mentioning the sound of the dharani, one should also combine the ten perfections, ten grounds, and ten powers accordingly. As it is said in the mandala offering ritual: In the east, draw the grounds; similarly, in the front, draw all the blazing perfections; in the west are the ten powers; in the north, draw all the dharanis. Thus it is said. The so-called various ornaments, etc., all the various ornaments are hanging strings of pearls, as well as bracelets and armlets adorned with jewels, making them various and creating wonder. Why is that? Because it is said, "To fulfill all the wishes of beings." Because the four means of gathering—giving, kind speech, beneficial action, and consistency—have been done beforehand, therefore its result is that it is adorned with all kinds of mansion ornaments. Among them, giving is of three types: giving, great giving, and extreme giving. Among them, giving food, drink, vehicles, and clothes, etc., is giving. Completely giving away a wife, son, daughter, male servant, female servant, house, and kingdom is extreme giving. Giving away flesh, blood, head, eyes, body, half of the body, and the crown of the head, etc., is great giving. Speaking pleasant words to beggars and those who listen to the Dharma is kind speech. Making others complete like oneself is beneficial action. For any vehicle, one becomes the perception of qualities, and establishing others in that very thing is consistency. The so-called wind-driven, etc., driven and pervaded by the teachings of the Blessed One, which are filled with the treatise called the Vinaya, possessing nine branches, is all the treatises of the sacred Dharma.

That which pervades everything, mentioning the Vinaya also includes the Abhidharma. Sutra and spoken in verse, prophecy, verses, self-spoken, thus arisen, Jataka, extensive explanation, wonderful, these are the teachings of the Bhagavan. Among them, the Sutra Pitaka is taught only in outline, that is, all the teachings are taught in outline. Or, because it can teach the meaning of beings according to their abilities, it is the Sutra Pitaka. Spoken in verse means that the sound has sixty branches and is fully equipped. Because prophecies are made through praise and Dharma teaching, it is prophecy. Because it can see the differences in karma, it can clearly reveal future situations. Verses refer to being arranged in verses. Self-spoken means being satisfied with obtaining unprecedented true and wonderful meanings, thus saying "Emaho Buddha" and expressing "Good". Thus arisen refers to preaching other lives from enlightenment to nirvana. Jataka refers to preaching the lives experienced by the Buddha in the past. Extensive explanation refers to explaining one thing in detail in immeasurable ways. Wonderful refers to revealing the immeasurable consequences of even small karma. Like this is the Dharma of the noble ones, so it is the noble Dharma, because it is what the wise should understand. This noble Dharma is called universal conduct, which pervades the three ways. Also, because it can preach the noble Dharma teachings combined with the nine categories to all sentient beings, therefore, wind-driven refers to the series of banner flags shaken by the wind and its bells, that is, the sound from the bells, and the palace with sound and ringing, and so on. Mirrors, etc., the mirror itself is the mirror, which can completely purify ignorance, and realizing all dharmas is wisdom. Because it is naturally bright, it is not stained by dirt. Therefore, it is always immaculate. Bodhi.
