of the bindu. The one abiding in its center is the form of the Buddha, the subtle form of Vajradhara. "Having meditated" means having meditated. One should meditate on the lunar mandala. This means contemplating the lunar mandala in the center of that form, which is a subtle union. One should contemplate the seed syllable of Vajradhara, settle and contemplate for a long time. Moreover, it should be understood from the context that one should abide in and meditate on the Vajradhara yoga, which is practiced through the verses of the Bodhipathakrama, accomplished by the three objects of focus. In order to clarify, the nose tip and so on are spoken of. Because it arises from the nose tip, it is the nose tip, meaning the realm of following. Since it is both the nose and the tip, it is the nose tip, because it has become a part above the mantra of wisdom vajra. Mustard seed means the bindu of wisdom as subtle as a mustard seed, as white as the moon. As it is said: In the midst of the sky, that is supreme, Of the nature of nectar bindu, As white as the moon, that emptiness, Inexhaustible, undiminishing, extremely subtle, Vajrasattva indestructible, What is said should be meditated upon. As it is said in the Tantra of Wrathful Vajra Amrita. Moving and unmoving in the mustard seed, Wisdom abides, think, means manifesting forms from the mustard seed, making the nature of various forms that move and do not move, and gathering them into the mustard seed, that itself is the abode of wisdom, that is, meditating on it. Wisdom here is the supremely subtle seed of the first glorious bliss. Its abode is the support, meaning the lunar mandala. Delightful is because it is of the nature of joy. Secret is because it is subtle. Examined by wisdom means because it is suppressed by the letter of the first glorious bliss. Buddha's body means the blue subtle vajra slightly forked at the tip, contemplated by the immovable yogi at the tip of the nose, and in its center, one should meditate on the solar mandala arising from the manifestation and gathering of forms. Abiding on it means abiding on the immovable seed syllable. That itself is spoken of by Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽). Wheel of

That which is called "wheel" is the subtle eight-spoked wheel of the yogi Vairochana. Regarding "joining in the manner of an eye," the moon mandala arising from the manifestation and retraction of signs is the eye, meaning the state of being in the center. Joining the subtle sign itself is the joining called "visualization." That which is called "lotus" is that moon itself. That which is called "vajra" is the Buddha, meaning the seed syllable of Vairochana. That which is called "jewel wheel" is the subtle jewel of the yogi Ratnasambhava. Regarding "the initial joining," the initial is the seed syllable, joining with that. Regarding "on top of that," although the word "that" seems to be an interval, it tends towards the sun mandala, not the eye. That which is called "lotus wheel" is the subtle lotus of the yogi Amitabha. That which is called "one with desire vajra" is the seed syllable of Amitabha. Regarding "on top of that," because it is related to the previous text, it is on top of the sun mandala. Regarding "wheel of light," light is Amoghasiddhi. Its wheel is the sign, the subtle sword of the yogi Amoghasiddhi. "The Buddha's way is peaceful and expansive," is the seed syllable of Amoghasiddhi. That which is called "wheel" is the basis of the seed syllable itself, which is the sun mandala. Regarding "in the distinctions," it is from the manifestation and retraction of signs. In order to indicate the measure of the subtle sign, "utpala (藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,汉语字面意思:乌 উৎপལ་)" and so on are spoken. That which is called "similar" is the color. That which is called "the size of a barley grain" is the size of a barley grain in water. Regarding "especially," it is by that distinction itself, the meaning of immovable vajra. That which is called "eight petals" is the lotus. That which is called "barley" is praise. That which is called "will tend towards enlightenment" is because this has those who have reached the other shore, therefore it is said thus, meaning those who seek enlightenment. In order to distinguish these, "wheel" and so on are spoken, regarding "especially," it is by the difference in shape. That which is called "should be examined" is the lotus and the vajra and
