There is no slightest action. There is also no constant non-thinking. Thus it is said. This secret vehicle, or the meaning of this tantra, the yogi who enters this meaning, any movement of the body is a mudra, so anything can be done. Similarly, eating any food, wearing any clothes, drinking any beverage, are all samaya substances, which can please all mandalas inside and outside, and with the inner fire offering, eat and drink whatever you want. Any expression of speech becomes mantra, so speak whatever words you want. Any thought in the mind, without modification, let it be natural, is also nothing but samadhi. All thoughts, acting in this way, the three doors, or the faults of the three doors will not be stained. Not abiding in the principle of samadhi, then constantly abide in samadhi. All that is practiced from the mind is taught as universal practice. This means that it is not like the above, using samadhi to force a change, thereby achieving the goal. All dharmas naturally abide as such, the yogi should abide in this. With the principle of non-discrimination, at any time and place, constantly abide in samadhi, so that the unawakened meaning can be awakened, and the awakened meaning can be manifested. Knowing this, then all actions of the three doors are nothing but the manifestation of one's own mind. Any yogi's mind, acting in this way, is shown to be no different or the same as the Buddha's actions at any time and place. Now is the thirty-first question, what is the action of such mantra? As an answer: Whatever arises from causes and conditions

The cause of these six consciousnesses, whichever they may be, is their respective faculties, and the condition is their objects. The consciousnesses arise from the assembly of these causes and conditions. Contemplate the objects and faculties. "Contemplate" means that the six goddesses, such as the Form Vajra Mother, appear as the six objects. The six faculties are to be contemplated as the six male deities, such as the Bodhisattva. Consciousness is the nature of their respective wisdoms. This is the universal instruction on contemplation. "Universal instruction" means that such contemplation is not just once or twice, but is instructed to be contemplated at all times and in all circumstances. In short, the meeting of object and faculty is the nature of skillful means and wisdom, and the arising of consciousness from this is the nature of body and wisdom. When attachment and aversion arise from any object or mind, contemplate it transforming into the Vajra of body, speech, and mind, or the goddesses such as the Form Vajra Mother, offering to and dissolving into one's own lineage lord. "Tra" means to protect. "Protect" means that by knowing objects and faculties in this way, no matter how the three doors are practiced, one will not be bound to samsara by the fault of transgression, nor will one fall into the lower realms, because one is liberated, so it is self-protection. For those beings who have not realized this, generating impartial compassion and benefiting them is the meaning of protecting others. Some say that the cause mentioned above—the faculty—is the Bodhisattva, which is the body; the condition—the mother—is the mind, which is the speech; and the consciousness arising from this is wisdom, which is the mind. Knowing this way, protecting both extremes is called "Tra," which means to protect. For this very reason, it is said in the scriptures: Whatever precepts are taught, one is sure to be liberated from worldly conduct, protecting all vajras, this is said to be the practice of mantra. When one abides in the state of such realization, there is no need to guard and restrain the three doors with the precepts of the Hearers, Solitary Realizers, Bodhisattvas, and even later, as well as the vows, Sutras, and various Tantras. Even if one engages in actions that seem to contradict these, one can benefit other beings without falling oneself, therefore, the world...

Through practice, one will surely be liberated. This means that even if one practices like worldly conduct, one will be liberated from worldly bonds, meaning one will attain enlightenment. "Protecting all Vajras" means that Vajra is the nature of wisdom, the mind of the Tathagata. Just as it protects all beings from samsara and falling into lower realms, or the two extremes, the yogi, with an inseparable mind and loving-kindness, protects all beings, thinking of their benefit and happiness. This is what is taught in mantra practice. It means that what is taught in this way is also taught in the mantra practice of mantra practitioners. Now, the thirty-second question: How should recitation be performed? As an answer: "Each one's own nature is good, meditate on the heart with the mind. The coming and going of recitation, should be specifically spoken." etc. Among them, "Each one's own nature is good" means that each individual mind, with the nature of awareness and wisdom, completes the mandala of the deities, or, whichever deity one believes in, one should meditate on the nature of their respective mandala. If one wants to meditate on these, then the method of meditation is as follows, meaning: Then, how should one meditate? "Examine the heart with the mind." It means that with the mind, one makes it clear and distinct, and with the characteristic of distinguishing objects, the consciousness that receives, which is not mentioned anywhere, is impermanent, and remains in the nature of constancy, from which it holds all the seeds of good and evil, and which can be transformed by the colors of karma, that is what is nominally called the heart. Examining this means that whichever deity and consort mandala one wishes to meditate on, one generates and meditates from the sequence of emitting and gathering light of letters and heart-marks, or the perfect union, from the supreme great mudra, with a clear appearance. "The coming and going of recitation" means that after meditating in this way, one clearly recites the mantra and essence of that deity with the mind, or one clearly recites the sound of the mantra with speech. That mantra emits light, radiating and expanding outward from oneself, and gathers them back into oneself.
