, making it cease to exist. Having thus accomplished everything, entering the indestructible end, and again relying on the ordinary body, doing everything in that way. This is the meaning of what is called "the true ultimate entry of mantra." In "having realized the arising of mantra," by means of the perfection of the suchness of mantra, knowing without doubt, what is called Vajra recitation is the meaning of speech. Now, in order to show the order of the second stage and so on, (it is) said: After Vajra recitation, the yogi will obtain focus on the mind. Abiding in the illusory-like samadhi, the true ultimate is completely purified. Having arisen from the true ultimate, one will obtain non-dual wisdom. Abiding in the union samadhi, one will no longer learn in any field. Thus it is said. Its meaning is this: abiding in Vajra recitation, that is, abiding at the end of neuter recitation, in the state of luminous nature, through focus on the mind, the yogi will obtain complete purification of the mind. Because, first, through the generation stage, the yogi makes the body completely solitary, through the stage of Vajra recitation, makes speech completely solitary, and then through the second stage, will obtain complete solitude of mind. That is also the previously shown mantra stage and mudra stage, obtained through two methods, not through other methods. Those two methods will also be clearly explained in the following stages. The nature of mind, if there are not those two methods, the nature of mind cannot be symbolized, because there is no initial form, color, etc. The noble Deva also said this: The nature of mind is not to be symbolized. Because there is no form, color, and shape, and distinctions, etc., that mind, its nature is not discriminating wisdom, let alone its complete purity. Therefore, I request the Bhagavan Vajra Guru to explain its nature to me. Then, the Guru, having heard the disciple's request, the great wise one (Guru) said: Good, good, the nature of mind that you asked me about, I will follow the teachings of the Sutras and Tantras and explain it to you in detail. Get up for a moment.

Now, the measure of the Sutra of the Tathagata's Passing Away shall be stated. Furthermore, if the Mahamati Bodhisattva-Mahasattva wishes to fully understand the realm of the perceived and the perceiver seen by the mind, he should abide in detachment from attachment and so forth. Here, the three kinds of consciousness become the cause, which is all things, such as the high realms (heavens), and liberation, and movement, and non-movement, and the perceived, and the perceiver, and the wheel of the twelve links of dependent origination, and virtue, and non-virtuous thoughts, and appearance, and darkness, and woman, and man, and hermaphrodite, and the arising of the inner self-nature, and abiding, and destruction; in short, the realm of the senses of the three realms is the three kinds of consciousness. In the Sutra Requested by Good Protector, the Blessed One also said: "O Good Protector, that which enters by the power of miraculous abilities, and that which enters by the power of consciousness conforming to karma, that realm of consciousness enters into various supports. This realm of consciousness is the agent, for it causes the body to be born. This realm of consciousness will not be exhausted, for it relies on the realm of Dharma. This realm of consciousness is endowed with intelligence, for it remembers all that depends on the body. This realm of consciousness should be seen as similar to the rays of the sun; for example, when the rays of the sun fall on foul, impure things and fragrant lotuses, etc., it has no conception of foulness or fragrance, etc. Likewise, this realm of consciousness, even if it takes birth in impure things and the birthplace of pigs, etc., it will not be stained by the faults of those things. Thus, these three kinds of consciousness, although pervasive, forget their own nature due to the faults of their own nature, and by going and coming in the six realms, etc., they make the realm of sentient beings slow." As it is said: "Wealth is plundered, I do not fear all the thieves, when they plunder wealth, it is not mine either. The wealth of virtue in the mind, again and again
