to know. Then, being deluded by afflictions such as attachment and hatred, as well as near afflictions, one repeatedly experiences death and the same birth. Thus, in the six realms, which possess the endless suffering of the prison of samsara, one is born again and again like the turning of a water bucket, which is the path of birth for sentient beings. To clarify this, (the text says) wind, that is, the collection of winds such as life, is an empty form, that is, its nature is empty. Combined with consciousness, which is merely awareness, it is completely mixed with the drops of semen and blood in the mother's womb. Later, being born from the womb, through the path of the senses, that is, the doors of the senses such as the eyes, one observes and grasps objects such as form. At that time, through the attention of the eyes and form, as well as the ears, etc., the consciousnesses of the eyes, etc., will arise. This is called the manner of the mind's arising, and it is not the ultimate meaning. Now is the manner of the arising of the natures that arise from the mind. (The text says) Wind becomes the mount, when light appears, then all natures, arise simultaneously or successively. What is said is like this, the thought is like this: the wind itself becomes the mount of consciousness, when light appears, that is, the nature of happiness, suffering, and equanimity, how the object appears, how the image appears, at that time, such mind-born dharmas of such a nature will arise. How do they arise? Simultaneously or successively, that is, at the same time or successively. Are mental factors arising successively? How can they arise simultaneously? It is said that it is through the way of being primary and non-primary, just like the sound of many musical instruments playing together. Similarly, when experiencing various things such as sugar, the special difference in taste that one can separately perceive, only the excellent can experience, similarly, when experiencing meaning, only special momentary mental factors will arise.

Therefore, saying "it will happen in an instant" refers to the way things arise from the mind, which is the general meaning. Now, distinguishing the nature through the movement of the wind: Where and in what place does the wind reside? It generates that very nature. As long as it is not moved by the wind, the appearance has not wavered or changed. This is what is said, and this is the meaning. In short, it has been previously stated that the wind has five and ten aspects, and its locations, such as the heart, and the distinctions of its functions have also been indicated. However, if we examine its essence, the wind arises from the clear light wheel of the Dharmadhatu. Therefore, the three channels, left, right, and middle, are the paths. Thus, wherever, whether in the left, right, or middle channel, the wind resides, it generates that very nature, that is, it generates and brings forth such mental phenomena. Similarly, the wind arising from the path of the left channel generates the natures of wisdom. Residing in the right channel are the natures of skillful means. Residing in the middle channel generates the natures of ignorance, but it is necessary to rely on the object of focus. Therefore, it is said that as long as the appearance, that is, the consciousness that has become similar in appearance from grasping objects, is not unwavering and stable, then the wind moves, that is, it is to be propelled by the very nature of a vehicle. Therefore, the movement of the wind is the movement of consciousness, that is, it does not arise or come into being. Thus, it has been explained that natures arise from grasping objects in accordance with the distinctions of the channels. This is the general meaning. Now, it is the cause of obstructing the two appearances, examining my objects. Possessing the limbs of both, appearance will be attained. Thus it is said, the two appearances, that is, the natures and the meaning of obstructing consciousness. Oṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) and Āḥ (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), the subsequent vowels and the establishment of stressed syllables, with the appearance similar to the rays of the moon and sun possessed by the forerunner, seeing those objects of the cause, that is, examining the consciousness of entering and the consciousness of the afflicted mind is the obstr
