After arranging artificial hair and so on, being content with whatever food is obtained, going from one place to another with the mind of self and no-self. No one knows, and in this way, until the manifestation of enlightenment is clear, one should become accustomed to the path of meditation together with it. This is the practice of non-elaboration and the manifestation of enlightenment of the Dharmadhatu. The yogi who possesses extremely non-elaborate conduct abandons the object of external examination and obtains the wisdom mudra. Whether with or without vows, one can abide in any way, and without any attachment, worldly people will laugh and say that this is a madman, eating the roots, fruits, food, and food of meditation of trees, until the attainment of enlightenment is achieved, one should engage in meditation and so on in accordance with this. The so-called extremely non-elaborate conduct and unsurpassed enlightenment are literal meanings. Now, for those who think, 'What is the use of practicing based on the thusness that is naturally established?' it is said in verse from the previous point of view: 'The nature that is established from the beginning, that is naturally established, if it does not arise from conceptualization, then what is the use of diligent study?' This is said. The meaning of this passage is that it is not reasonable to say that the thusness can be obtained through the order of purification of consciousness or the order of practice. Because the so-called thusness is the self-nature of suchness, and suchness is also the pervasiveness and abiding of all, therefore it is the nature of Dharma, constant, and naturally established. Therefore, nature, that is, the essence of self-nature, is established and does not arise from conceptualization, that is, it does not arise from the conceptualization of wisdom and the order of purification of consciousness, and it will not arise. If that is the case, then it will become impermanent, because it is the essence of conceptualization. Because the result is in accordance with the cause. Therefore, for the thusness that is established from the beginning, the diligence of learning, that is, gradual practice

What to do and that it is unreasonable to become accustomed in all ways, that is the literal meaning. The answer is: If you abandon the order of wisdom, who would think like that here? Not knowing its distinctions, those will have to learn again. This is what is said. Whichever opponent, relying on the side of inherent existence, abandoning the order of wisdom, that is, not knowing the order of consciousness and wisdom as things of cause and effect, and the distinctions of the order of the opposing side, thinking and saying that it is unreasonable to become accustomed, those do not know the distinctions of wisdom and so on, and do not know with what wisdom what kind of nature is, and from where what kind of nature arises, and how those should also be abandoned, because they have not become accustomed to it. Therefore, not knowing the distinctions, whichever ignorant lama gives empowerment, do not believe that you have attained Suchness, those will have to learn again because they have not realized Suchness. In order to attain it again, those must undoubtedly take its method, that is the conclusion. If for a while Suchness is established, but because it is obscured by sudden stains it is not clear, therefore by practicing yoga, having abandoned the stains, that is cleared by oneself. Just so, it will not become impermanent, because clearing the stains is its cause. Clearing the stains is merely the nature of making it clear, like a lamp. Therefore, only becoming accustomed is reasonable, that is the literal meaning. The order of becoming accustomed to it is: Knowing the distinctions of the appearance of nature, relying on that fourth, whoever studies the three, he will quickly attain the fruit. This is what is said. Whichever yogi, through the previously said order, knowing the distinctions of the natures and the appearances of wisdom, having known that, relies on and takes the fourth, all emptiness. Through the order of mantras and mudras, the nature and the consciousness of

The collection of three, by learning through these three methods, one can swiftly obtain the clear light fruit of the characteristics of the great Vajradhara position. When these cease, one can simultaneously attain and realize it. This is what is said through the secret and ultimate instructions. Now, although it is self-established, it cannot be attained without practice. To illustrate this example, just as fire resides in wood, it will not appear without friction. Similarly, without practice, enlightenment will not appear, let alone in this lifetime. It is said that even if a yogi of the pāramitās practices through the stages of the path of seeing and the path of cultivation, it will take three countless eons to attain enlightenment. If one practices while abiding in the teachings of mantra, one can attain it in this very lifetime, which is a special point, that is, the literal meaning. Now, in order to bestow the Dharma with the key instructions of the stages of complete purification of mind, it is necessary to examine whether the disciples are suitable vessels or not. It is said: If someone has a deceitful mind, is lazy and slanders the guru, is arrogant thinking they have received empowerment, is discouraged thinking it is difficult to attain omniscience, and only sees the guru's faults and does not appreciate their qualities. Here, there are five types of listeners. Among them, this is like a person of sandalwood. Having a deceitful mind means deceiving with offerings and so on. Laziness means being lazy when listening to the Dharma. Slandering the guru who possesses listening to the Dharma means saying: He has not taught me anything at all, I am completely endowed with wisdom by my own nature. Thinking that one has received empowerment, being arrogant. Then, if some wise people say to practice the path
