All those opponents should be refuted in this way. All these liberations are impure because they are mixed with the mud of various views' faults. As the Bhagavan said in the Great Assembly Sutra: The Samkhya who is a wise yogi, who holds any sect with ignorance, those who have established knowledge with wisdom, those who desire the wisdom sect, and those who rejoice in the five times, the yogi of the Great Lord, those who take fire as a measure, those who hold stainless hair knots, those who speak of the Great Hero, and others who speak of liberation, all those will go down. What the Victorious One said remains on top. As it is said, and those who speak of the five meanings of peace and purity, the agent-speaker, the all-pervading Brahmin, and those in the world who are worthy of offerings to the outsiders, whatever beings have the conduct of people, those who practice the Vajrayana as supreme are animals. Therefore, I strive to abandon association with those. Association will cause vows to deteriorate, and the loss of accomplishment will make one unfit for liberation. Those who have mastery over the extremes of establishment with the nature of ten and eighteen, those who possess the power of fear, the sixty-four that are spoken of, all those except the Vajrayana should be known as animals. Thus it is said. Therefore, the doctrine of the Vajrayana is the only one without fault, and one should abide in it. Those who say they have their own school are those who have definite understanding. These are the Shravakas, the Yogacharas, the Bodhisattvas, and those who hold the principles of secret mantras, a total of four types. Among them, the Shravaka is one who, merely by understanding the absence of self in a person, thinks, "I have done what needs to be done," and dwells only on his own benefit, abandoning the benefit of others. Thus it is said: Sentient beings have various inclinations, even the Victorious Ones cannot please everyone, what need is there to mention ignorant ones like me, therefore abandon worldly thoughts, one should examine with one's own power, whether it is rational or irrational, not relying on the faults of others, things done and not done. Thus it is proclaimed, and those who have a view of obvious attachment to external objects are not vessels for explaining secret mantras. Any true monk, and anyone who enjoys speculation.
