Then it should be known that this is even more excellent and superior. Why? Because it is the most able to give the oral instructions for attaining the great state of Vajradhara, that is, it is given in a special way. The meaning is that, for the time being, whether or not one can directly see or receive the prophecy of the great Vajradhara, one can still comprehend this very truth through the power of practice. And this practice can only be obtained through the kindness of the Guru, therefore, for the essence of what one did not know before, to be able to make it known, this matter is even more excellent, and should be understood in this way, this is its true meaning. How to please him? "Half a month or a month, this is a truly pleasing thing, having pleased the Guru, offer as much as you can." Thus it is said, first, for the time being, for the disciple who seeks the oral instructions of the stages of manifest enlightenment, half a month or a month, or with the word "vow" indicating a year or so, with true respectful service to make him happy and pleased, and to the best of his ability, to make offerings with the characteristics of the enjoyment of the five desires. After that, after pleasing him through the order of service and offerings, what should be done? Therefore it says: "From him, learn the mudras well, offer whatever you can, in the center of the assembly mandala, offer according to the ritual." Thus it is said, after that, from him, skillfully learn the mudras, that is, the mudras of the vows, and through the order of hearing and so on, the paramita of vows and samaya, whatever can be obtained, whether born into the caste of outcastes or butchers, if there are none of these, then through pleasing the gods of color or desire, according to one's own caste, make donations and offerings. After that, offer the Tsokhor to the Guru, that is, in the center of the Tsokhor, make offerings and enjoy. The so-called "according to the ritual" means not exceeding the ritual. And this ritual is like this: first, except for the Shravaka caste, lay practitioners and monks, as well as Vajra Masters and Yogis, etc., for them, seats should be laid out in order. There, in the same row...

Just like a father, invite the Sangha of monks to be seated, and below them, arrange for the assembly of lay practitioners to be seated in order. After that, invite the assembly of Vajra masters to be seated in the row in front of the Sangha of monks. The assembly of yogis should only be invited to be seated above all others; whether the yogi is a lay practitioner, a monk, or a novice, they should be placed in the upper seat, as the Bhagavan said. After that, the practitioner should come forward and prostrate, and respectfully honor the feet of all in order. There, one should appoint one who is the embodiment of Vajra activity to be the host. There, in front of them, make a triangular Dharma-source mudra of the five amritas. Inside it, make a round bindu, and within it, one should look at the first wheel of the mandala, like a reflection in a mirror. Below that, a single skull cup filled with the five amritas blessed by the seed syllables of the five Tathagatas should be placed, and flowers should be scattered. On either side of the skull cup, two other skull cups should be placed, one filled with grape wine, and the other filled with grain wine, both blessed by the seed syllables of Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) and Hrīḥ (ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:啥), the nature of method and wisdom, and adorned with scattered flowers. The three lotus vessels, starting from the central one, the right and left ones, should be pleased with blue, white, and red cloths. Then, led by the Vajra activity practitioner, offerings of fragrant substances and the like, the five offerings, should be made. After that, taking amrita from the central vessel, it should be sprinkled into the two vessels. Then, taking one vessel, uncovering the cloth, it should be offered to the assembly of yogis in order. Then, it should be offered to the assembly of monks, novices, lay practitioners, and Vajra masters, and after offering, each one should prostrate. From wherever the offering began, it should be offered to them again later. After that, many different kinds of meat stews, as well as fragrant rice and king's rice with six tastes, for the group of learners.
