Depending on the order, it is to obtain the supreme. The high realms and liberation are very different, which is the concluding remark, that is, the literal meaning. The fruit of offering is: the supreme teacher is, by offering to Vajrasattva, what merit has he not done? What austerity has he not relied on? Thus it is said. The supreme, that is, the Vajra teacher who is mainly wisdom and compassion, who is the same as the Lama Vajrasattva, whoever makes offerings to him, that practitioner has done merit, what good has he not accumulated? And practicing Brahma-viharas and so on, what has he not relied on with the characteristics of austerity? He has only done these. In the root tantra it is also said, we are the father of all Buddhas, we are not the mother of all Buddhas, thus it is said in the three times, and after making offerings, they passed away. Therefore, there is no difference between Vajrasattva and Vajra teacher, which is the literal meaning. The distinction of the offering itself is: with inexhaustible desire, whatever is most cherished, whatever is most special, offer that to the guru. Thus it is said, whatever is most cherished, refers to external jewels and pearls, etc. What is most special refers to one's own wife, etc., who is even more precious than life, those should be offered to the guru Vajra teacher. Why? If one seeks liberation for a while, then what is the use of external things? If one does not want anything, then offering to a pure field will make wealth inexhaustible, therefore, all material donations and special donations and great donations should be offered to him. If you give to animals, you will get a hundredfold. If you give to sinners, you will get a thousandfold. If you give to those who keep the precepts, you will get a hundred thousandfold. If you give to those who are free from desire, you will get a hundred millionfold. If you give to the non-learner, then you will get extremely excellent enjoyment. If someone offers to the Buddha, then his perfect enjoyment will not be exhausted. It is also said. The characteristics of the teacher are:

The teacher can take away sins, the teacher can eliminate fears, the teacher can deliver from the terrifying ocean of suffering to the other shore. Thus it is said, the teacher takes away sins through the empowerment of knowledge, because one becomes fully aware. The secret empowerment eliminates fears, because it abandons the fear of conceptualization. Through the empowerment of wisdom and knowledge, one is delivered from the great fear of the ocean of suffering, that is, the nature of samsara with its afflictions and cognitive obscurations, and is made to reach the other shore, that is, the ultimate. Examining whether the disciple is a vessel or not: One who is defiled by pride, and who shows the order of untruth, and who is contemptuous of the Dharma itself, do not show him the Suchness. Thus it is said, if a disciple is endowed with pride, then likewise, if one were to truly show that Suchness, what fault would there be? However, showing the order of the untrue, that is, the incorrect Suchness, and likewise, despising that Dharma itself, that is, the words of the guru's instructions, and the disciple who is accompanied by contempt, do not show and explain the ultimate Suchness to him, this is the literal meaning. The characteristics of a noble disciple are: Respecting the guru, speaking truthfully, being completely tranquil and single-minded, protecting the conduct of vows. Now show him the order. Thus it is said, respecting the guru of the speaker, and so on, and likewise, speaking truthfully because of being free from deceit and so on, being completely tranquil because of not being attached to external things such as enjoying objects, subduing the senses, and likewise, because of having the wisdom arising from निश्चित (nges par rtog pa) about the Dharma, therefore, remembering the meaning and words of all measurable things spoken together, being single-minded, and in order to do whatever is undertaken as the fruit of the teachings, therefore, protecting the conduct of vows, and the disciple who is diligent in the activities of sentient beings, as indicated by the word "who", to such a disciple, now show the order, that is, show the order of blessing oneself, and the guru should give instructions.
