Those also do not know how to abandon them, because they have not become accustomed to them. Therefore, do not believe in the empowerment given by any guru who does not know the difference and is ignorant, saying: You have attained that suchness. Those who have not abandoned that suchness will learn again, and in order to attain it again, they must undoubtedly do those methods, this is the final conclusion. Because, even if that suchness is established for a while, however, because it is obscured by sudden defilements and is not clear, therefore, by practicing yoga, abandoning those defilements, that is cleared by oneself. Just by that, it will not become impermanent, because clearing defilements is its cause. Clearing defilements is merely the nature of making it clear, like a lamp. Therefore, only habituation is reasonable, just like the literal meaning. The order of habituating that suchness is: knowing the difference between the appearance of nature, relying on that fourth, whoever practices the three, he will quickly obtain the result. Thus it is said, any yogi, with the order previously mentioned, knows the difference between the natures and the appearances of wisdom, and after knowing that, relies on and takes that fourth, which is the suchness of all emptiness. With the order of mantras and mudras, the collection of nature and wisdom is practiced in three ways, that is, the three aspects, whoever practices those three, he will quickly obtain the clear light of the qualities of attaining the great Vajradhara position, that is, those cessation and simultaneous attainment and realization, this is the final conclusion, which is spoken by the secret and ultimate ones. Now, even if it is established by nature, it will not be obtained without habituation. In order to show this example: just as fire resides in wood, it will not appear without friction. Similarly, enlightenment without habituation will not appear in this life. Thus it is said, that suchness, although it is established by nature, however, habituation is the main thing, just like in the wood

The fire in my location, as long as it is not rubbed by the combination of the rubbing wood and the rubbing vessel, even if it exists all the time, it will not appear. Similarly, if there is no habit, Bodhi will not arise, let alone this life. The Tara yogi gradually becomes accustomed through the stages of the path of seeing and the path of meditation, and it takes countless kalpas to attain Bodhi. If one becomes accustomed to abiding in the teachings of mantra, then one can attain it in this very life, which is a special characteristic, just as it is in the literal sense. Now, in order to examine the disciples who are to be given the Dharma with the oral instructions of the stages of complete purification of the mind, to see whether they are vessels or non-vessels. Whoever has a deceitful mind and laziness, slanders the guru. Has a mind that boasts of having received empowerment. Has a discouraged mind, thinking that it is difficult to obtain omniscience, Sees the faults of the guru, and does not want to see the virtues. Thus it is said. Here there are five kinds of listeners. Among them, this is a person like sandalwood. Having a deceitful mind means deceiving with offerings and so on. Having laziness means being lazy when listening. Slandering the guru who has listening and possesses it, saying: He has not taught me anything, I myself am inherently endowed with wisdom. Thinking that I have received empowerment, being arrogant. Then, if some wise men advise to become accustomed to the path, then one becomes discouraged, thinking that omniscience is not easy to obtain, and lacks faith. Similarly, seeing the faults of the guru, that is, the teacher, but not wanting to see the virtues, that is the only person like sandalwood. To repeat again: Without respectful listening, wanting to obtain it. Saying that the words are not gentle, leaving with anger. Seeing the guru in the sangha, turning his back on him. If going alone, then he will prostrate to him. Listening respectfully, and serving for that purpose, is also listening respectfully. Abandoning that, without that, quickly, that is, by means of a convenient path, through the gate of doubt, wanting the suchness of convenience. If the guru
