It is not just a slight praise. All dharmas are emptiness, who should be praised, and with what should one praise? Having abandoned birth and death, can I praise you? Having abandoned good and bad destinies, without coming and going, it is not appropriate to praise. Such and so on are spoken, which is the meaning of uprightness. Or, I prostrate to you, which is the nature of Vairocana. Or, like prostration, it is the nature of Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Akshobhya, and Amoghasiddhi. Similarly, how to praise and prostrate to you. This refers to prostration to the nature of the sixth great Vajradhara. Here, it is prostration with the characteristic of following its nature. Therefore, for the great Vajradhara who becomes the unified nature of the five Tathagatas, it means entering into its nature. Therefore, since there is no difference, with what to praise and who to praise? This sentence means that it is like water and milk becoming one, so it is the meaning of certainty. Now, in order to show the nature of prostration that enters into its nature by means of metaphors, like water into water, like butter into butter, the one who sees well with his own wisdom is the prostration here. It is said like this. What is the prostration with the characteristic of following its nature? For example, when two rivers converge and the water flows mix, no difference is seen at all, because there is no distinction in the water. Similarly, if someone says that the difference between two rivers from cold and warm regions hundreds of miles away will be noticed by those skilled in touch at the place of measurement, then the second example is like butter into butter, when two kinds of butter are mixed, the greasiness and color are the same, so there is no difference. Similarly, self, that is, the knowledge of the nature of aggregates, elements, and sense bases, one's own wisdom, that is, placing and seeing well the luminosity of the nature of emptiness of all things, that is prostration, because that itself is the fruit of prostration, so it is prostration. Similarly, karma and

When taking refuge in the Three Jewels, one prostrates in order to attain Buddhahood. Here, the act of prostration itself is Buddhahood, so there is no difference between cause and effect. With this intention, the Bhagavan said in the Root Tantra: "The three vajras are supreme, not mudras." Here, prostration is not prohibited. However, it is said that prostration is relied upon by the characteristic of following its own nature. To think that this is the correct view is incorrect. If that were the case, if one could comprehend Suchness merely by prostrating, then what would be the use of practice? To dispel this doubt, (the text says:) "However, without the realization of omniscience, that nature cannot be closely apprehended. Covered by layers of darkness, light is obtained through grace." The meaning of what is said is that one can attain realization merely by prostrating, but if one does not know the nature of prostration as taught by the guru, how can one attain realization? Therefore, omniscience is considered to be the Vajra Acharya, because there is no difference between the guru and Vajradhara. Without the realization from that (guru), that is, the comprehension of wisdom, one cannot approach Suchness. As stated in the Mother of the Victorious Ones Sutra, one attains the Bodhi of the Buddha by relying on a virtuous friend. Similarly, "The one with wrong pride does not see his own faults as faults, nor as virtues. He despises virtuous friends. How can he drink the nectar?" and so on. An example is given: just as a vase or cloth, etc., covered by layers of darkness, which are unclear, become clear in their distinctions of name and form, etc., when they encounter the light of a lamp. Similarly, although Suchness exists in the mind-stream that has been defiled by the accumulation of darkness of the habitual tendencies of afflictions such as desire, etc., from beginningless time, it is not clear. Once the grace of the guru is obtained, Suchness will become clear in an instant. This is the conclusion.

Ga go? Therefore, the oral instructions of the lama should be taken to heart, which is the meaning of the summary, just as it is in the words. Now, it is to show the distinction between the cause and effect of the stages of complete purification of the mind. Emptiness, extreme emptiness, the third great emptiness, and the fourth all emptiness, are the distinctions between cause and effect. Thus it is said. In this case of complete purification of the mind, nothing other than the mind and the mental elaborations that arise from it are perceived. As the noble Maitreya said: 'Unreal imagination is the mind and mental phenomena, the three realms.' Thus it is said. Therefore, it becomes completely pure through the distinction of the incompatible and the antidote. Among them, the incompatible side is the three consciousnesses and the three natures that arise from them, while the antidote side is the three emptinesses, and their synonyms are called the three wisdoms. The three consciousnesses and their related natures are also purified by the three wisdoms, such as the appearance of the antidote, and are therefore indicated by their names, just as the famine caused by rain is the famine caused by no rain. Similarly, the wisdom that only appears as consciousness should be called emptiness, because that is what they should abandon. This is the meaning of the limb. The meaning of the words is that the sixteen emptinesses, such as inner emptiness, are divided into four each, and each is collected, so they become four emptinesses and so on. Thus, emptiness is the antidote because it abandons the entering consciousness when the wisdom of appearance arises. Similarly, extreme emptiness is the antidote because it abandons the afflicted consciousness of mind when the wisdom of clear appearance arises. Similarly, great emptiness is the antidote because it abandons the alaya consciousness when the wisdom of near attainment arises. The fourth all emptiness is the result because it abandons the three wisdoms and the other three emptinesses with different names when the clear light arises.
