It is to make, the reason already spoken is called the remainder. There are also four kinds of words with distinctions, such as words of characteristics, dream words, words that are currently acting in evil destinies, and words of distinction from beginningless time. Great Wisdom, the word of characteristics is said to be the one that manifests from the characteristics of form arising from one's own distinctions. Great Wisdom, dream words are those that arise from remembering experiences and the appearance of objects. Great Wisdom, the words that are currently acting in evil destinies are those that arise from the mind remembering the actions previously done. Great Wisdom, the words of distinction from beginningless time are those that arise from the self-nature of the seed of evil destinies that are currently acting in defilement. Great Wisdom, these are the four kinds of names of the distinctions of speech. Similarly, in others, words are said to be the most excellent, the seeing, the intermediate, and the non-manifest, which are of four kinds. Among them, the most excellent is the aspect of habitual tendencies residing in the Alaya consciousness. The seeing is the nature of distinction that depends on the mind consciousness. The intermediate is the nature of letters whose sound is not clear because the wind arises and touches all places, the essence of the letter-syllable. The manifest is said to be the nature of extremely manifest sound, which is perceived by the ear sense, because it is the nature of what is said and what can be said by the nature of speech and words, and is called manifest speech. Thus it is said. Thus, the distinctions of ordinary speech are transformed into perversion, and the meaning of the reality of mantra that obtains the nature of luminosity. As it is said in the Sutra Showing One Aspect: These dharmas are shown by the signs of sound, here dharma and sound do not appear, the nature of dharma enters into one reality, and one can touch the unsurpassed forbearance. Thus and so on it is said. The distinction of the three wisdoms will be explained below. By this, to sentient beings, o.

Now, effort should be applied to the clear Dharma nature. That is, through the stages of Vajra recitation, having reached the other shore of complete solitude, through the door of consciousness endowed with nature and appearance, as well as the mount of wind, one should become accustomed to the stages of complete purification of the mind, which is the meaning to be expressed. This is spoken with a non-ultimate intention. Now, examining whether students are vessels or non-vessels: "One who despises the guru, who has no faith; Boasting of mantras, filled with pride upon seeing scriptures; One who has no faith and whose empowerment is inferior; The words of the stages should not be shown." Thus it is said. What kind of student is it? To despise the guru, that is, the one in front of the empowerment guru, is accompanied by the Dharma of contempt. If the mind becomes pure, then what fault is there? Deceitful, that is, possessing deceit. Similarly, having no faith is possessing anger. Similarly, knowing only mantras and boasting is possessing arrogance. In the assembly, due to the power of arrogance, one does not listen, and having looked at the scriptures in one's own home, one thinks that one knows everything and is filled with pride, that is, accompanied by manifest arrogance. If one engages in hearing one out of a hundred, then at that time, without faith, one listens in a way that says, "I have doubts about this." After that, the empowerment is inferior, that is, not having received the correct empowerment from the guru, for a student with such a form, the stages, that is, the stages of Vajra recitation, the words, that is, even just talking about it, should not be shown. An excellent student is: "Whoever has respect and faith in the guru; Respectfully listens and always strives manifestly; Capable of retaining what is heard, the excellent guru; The guru's grace, no need to examine, give it to him." Thus it is said. Whoever has faith in the Dharma, and has respect for the guru who teaches the Dharma, listens respectfully to those who want to hear, and strives manifestly for the meaning of hearing, that is, possesses diligence, is able to retain what is heard, that is, is not satisfied with hearing and repeatedly becomes accustomed to hearing, for such an excellent guru, that is the supreme guru. The guru's grace is what should be embraced. No need to examine means there is no need to examine, that is, it should be embraced immediately.
