Having settled in meditation, one no longer learns towards any field. The meaning of what is said like this is: Through the sequence of Vajra recitation, making it completely pure, the yogi takes as his object the nature of mind, knowledge, and the three, that is, he will attain complete purity. The nature of the three consciousnesses of the Alaya consciousness, the afflicted consciousness, and the entering consciousness, together with the sixty aggregates of consciousness, for beings, day and night, revolve like a waterwheel. These three consciousnesses, which are without root, without dwelling, without color, without mark, and without form, holding the sharp sword of sudden afflictive habitual tendencies, like guests going to the wilderness hermitage of samsara, rob the wealth of the root of virtue, kill and throw them into other birthplaces. As it is said in the Sutra of the Ashes River Mouth: The monk dwelling in the wilderness hermitage, raising his hands, during the day I am not afraid of thieves who rob wealth, they only rob wealth, and even that is not there. The wealth of my virtue, accumulated again and again in my mind, is ultimately robbed involuntarily by conceptual thoughts. Thus he cries out. Therefore, it is only by not fully understanding these three consciousnesses that one is in samsara. The noble Maitreya said: The unreal, completely conceptualized is the mind and mental factors, the three realms. What is said like this. When one contemplates and practices the nature of these three consciousnesses with the sequence of mantras and mudras that are taught, the mind will become completely pure, that is, hidden. After that, the mind attains complete purity, and suddenly arises from the ultimate truth, in order to unite the previous aspirations with the fruit, and in order to abandon the path of annihilationism similar to the view of the Great自在天 (Maheśvara), the yogi is surrounded by a mandala like Indra's bow, possessing all perfections, possessing a fundamental majesty surpassing the light of the sun, moon, and fire, the body of the great glorious Vajradhara, another name also called the wisdom body, benefits all beings in an instant.
