I and the aggregates of consciousness are one, for consciousness is its vehicle. Consciousness, when analyzed in ultimate terms, is also the nature of bodhicitta. Likewise, through the equal union of skillful means and wisdom, all faculties, objects, and consciousnesses become of one taste, and bodhicitta will be experienced as the essence of both the conventional and the ultimate. Among these, the conventional is the suchness of the conventional, while the ultimate is the suchness of the ultimate. Since the support and the supported are non-different, the suchness of consciousness is the suchness of wind. If asked, 'From what does arising arise?' If answered 'From karma,' that is not acceptable. Because: 'It is inseparable from arising, and the imprints of karma reside in the mind.' If one says 'From wind,' then from what does wind arise? 'It arises from effort, and from what does that arise?' If one says 'From desire,' then haven't you already accepted that path?' That is what is said. Therefore, the suchness that has the form of a bindu is the suchness of wind. Its order is that the meditation that precedes the placement of special places by the distinction of lineage and afflictions, namely those places, and the three places of the forehead, heart, and secret place. Some also say that the middle of the eyebrows and the middle of the navel are also such places. Through this order, one comprehends the suchness of wind, and thereby deeply enters into the suchness of mantra. And what is that like? All mantras are produced by vowels (ཨཱ་ལི་,ā li) and consonants (ཀཱ་ལི་,kā li), and through the distinction of vowels and consonants, there are forty-nine letters. These rely on the nature of eight categories, and through the order of letters and words, etc., they produce eighty-four thousand collections of teachings. Through the order of externalists, they produce fourteen fields of knowledge, and through the order of one's own tenets, they produce five fields of knowledge. As it is said: 'Grammar, logic, and rhetoric, prosody, astrology, and medicine, poetry, drama, and stories, as well as politics and crafts, these are called the fourteen fields of knowledge.' It is also said: 'Grammar, logic, medicine, as well as crafts and inner knowledge, these are called the five fields of knowledge.' It is also said: 'Learning, thinking, and expression, vocabulary, knowledge of the positions of stars, the composition of poetry is the sixth, and is called the six limbs of the Vedas.' 'Decision, sacrifice, poetry, as well as politics and protection are the fourth, in all fields of knowledge, the Vedas are said to be four.' 'One who has the nature of discerning the objects of the Vedas is behavior.' Knowledge

It is a discernment of the teachings. That is, from the order of the six teachers, the Samkhya, the worthy of offering, the Lokayata, the Sugata, and those with discerning abilities, these are declared as four branches. That which tells of past events is the ancient history with characteristics. In order to separate the world from desire, the teachings are treatises on the Dharma. Those are the fourteen fields of knowledge, namely the various branches and the four Vedas. Those with discerning abilities increase wisdom, and ancient history is a treatise on the Dharma, those are the fourteen fields of knowledge. Thus it is said. According to the order of one's own school, there are five, namely grammar, logic, medicine, inner science, and the science of crafts. The distinctions of these are spoken of by the noble Maitreya, so they will not be elaborated here. In that case, the fundamental letter is the cause of all the nature of the oral instructions, and that also arises only from the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A). A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) is the most excellent of all letters, it is a sacred letter of great meaning, it arises from emptiness, it has no birth, it has abandoned verbal expression. Thus it is said. That itself, with the nature of the five short vowels, is the nature of the five aggregates and the five consciousnesses. That itself, except for the four hermaphrodites, the twelve are the nature of the outer and inner objects and faculties, therefore it is the nature of the twelve sources (twelve links of dependent origination). The nature of the sixteen vowels is the nature of the sixteen parts of the moon, and it is also the nature of the numerical dates. That itself, when doubled, is the nature of the thirty-two marks of a great person. The classification of the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) is the nature of the eighteen elements, namely short vowels, long vowels, jumping, and the three vowels and connections, through the subsequent classification of nasals, it is the nature of the number eighteen. The classification is short vowels and long vowels, and where they arise, raising and lowering, with vowels and with nasal suffixes, and without nasal suffixes. Similarly, that itself is the nature of clarity, it is the nature of skillful means. Together with the subsequent vowels, those that do not arise without being related to the three final states, and possessing these, are skillful means and wisdom.
