There are five types. Among them, the practitioner of the Action Tantra is one who, due to actions such as circumambulating stupas, reciting mantras, performing fire offerings, taking three baths, and changing clothes three times, is of great ignorance and of intermediate capacity. The practitioner of the Performance Tantra is one who, due to manifestly desiring to attain siddhis, samadhi, and miracles, is of small ignorance. The practitioner of the Yoga Tantra is one who, because mudra, mandala, and samadhi are primary, has little attachment and is of small and medium capacity. The practitioner of the Highest Yoga Tantra is one who is of great attachment and hatred. The practitioner of the Yoga Mother Tantra is one who is solely of great attachment. Therefore, in order to purify them, the Bhagavan taught the five aspects of the secret mantra teachings. All of these practitioners are divided into two types: those of the generation stage and those of the completion stage. Among them, the generation stage of the Action Tantra and so forth is only from the seed syllable. The generation stage of the Yoga Tantra and so forth is through the order of the five manifest enlightenments. The completion stage of the Action Tantra and so forth is meditating on the vajra subtle and so forth. The completion stage of the Highest Yoga Tantra and so forth is meditating on the subtle yoga and the bindu yoga and so forth, which is the distinction. Among them, there are many distinctions in the completion stage. The subtle yoga is solely the yoga of clear light. The bindu yoga is through the order of life and effort, or through the order of the channels, or through the means of grasping the bodhicitta, or through the order of unfolding the mandala of vows within the lotus, or through the means of experiencing it, or through the means of pervading the joints of all the limbs, or through the means of experiencing the great bliss of drawing the bodhicitta upwards through the union of the winds, or through the order of the supreme approach and so forth.

I am through the way of entering into wisdom equally and experiencing the innate bliss. It is also through the stages of the six-limbed yoga, namely, the enjoyment of objects and senses, and their purification, the spreading of bindus, the gathering of bindus, the spreading again, and the distinction of visualizing as the lord of the mandala wheel, the body of the great Vajradhara who possesses all kinds of excellence. Vajra recitation is through the order of the winds. The order of wisdom and consciousness is the order of purifying the mind. The order of the twelve similes such as illusion is the order of self-blessing. The order of desire, non-desire, and intermediate desire is the order of manifest enlightenment. The order of non-abiding nirvana is the order of union. Thus, the yogi's analysis and classification of the object of contemplation are explained. Meaning of the Text. First, the order of Vajra recitation. General explanation. This completion stage is summarized by the noble Nagarjuna in five meanings, therefore, for that purpose, first, he pays homage to the desired deity. Thus, entering with homage to the desired deity as a prelude is the conduct of the holy ones. Such homage is divided into three types: rational, concordant, and both concordant. Among them, rational is, for example, to make treatises on one's own desired deity and pay homage to it, just as the auspicious one and others pay homage to Manjushri Vajra, because that is the desired deity of the Buddha Wisdom Venerable. Concordant is, for example, at the beginning of the Pratimoksha vows, to the Bhagavan who is free from desire, with auspicious abode and so on, just like paying homage. Both concordant is, for example, the author's deity and the deity of the treatise are the same, just as the glorious Nagarjuna Venerable in the "Compendium of Methods," to the Bhagavan glorious Vajrasattva, liberated from the conduct of the three realms

Just like the prostrations of Yawa and others. Here too, it is just the same, completely in accordance with both, because Vajrasattva is the god of desire, and the most important thing is that very nature. Similarly, other prostrations are only of four kinds: body, speech, mind, and unsurpassed. The prostration of the body is prostration with the five limbs, etc. The prostration of speech is of the nature of praise. The prostration of mind is of the nature of meditation, etc. Similarly, the unsurpassed prostration is of the nature of following its own nature. As it says in that very text: Just as water enters water, just as oil enters oil, one's own wisdom of oneself, in whatever good sight, this is prostration. Etc., will be explained. Furthermore, what is the need for making prostrations? The need is to pacify obstacles. Because after making prostrations, by praising the great person, merit is obtained, and because non-virtue is dispelled, therefore the outer and inner obstacles arising from non-virtue will be pacified. Because of pacification, the teachings will be perfectly accomplished, therefore pacifying obstacles is the result of prostration. Among these, the external obstacles are those that rely on sentient and non-sentient beings. The obstacles caused by the five great elements, such as earth, are those that rely on sentient beings. The obstacles caused by livestock, wild animals, birds, snakes, constellations, etc., are the obstacles that rely on non-sentient beings. The internal obstacles are of three kinds: body, speech, and mind. Among these, the obstacles of the body are due to causes such as wind, bile, and phlegm. The obstacles of speech are due to causes such as harsh words. The obstacles of the mind are due to causes such as desire. All of these will be pacified by remembering the Bhagavan. Is there not a mistake seen in this prostration? Obstacles are not seen to be pacified in the place where prostrations are made, because when explaining the prophesied meaning of the spoken tantra, the explainer died.
