It is not so. If, as it is said, milk flows out to produce a calf, just as one sees oneself flowing out without awareness, then that statement is also not established. For there, only a conscious cow is able to make the milk flow out. Otherwise, some cows are unwilling and do not even give milk to their own calves, because only consciousness makes everything happen, because that is their nature. Therefore, there is no person (Pudgala). Reasoners and Particularists also rely on saying that the "I" is permanent, and refuting them is unnecessary, because the "I" does not exist, because it is invisible, just as a pot does not exist in an empty place, this is the invisibility of self-nature. If they say, "What you consider to be the aggregates is the 'I'," then, the aggregates are impermanent, arising and ceasing, because they possess the three characteristics, and the "I" is also the same as them, so it will also become impermanent, which is not what you desire. It is also unreasonable to think that the "I" possesses the aggregates, etc., because it is unreasonable for permanent and impermanent things to be the supported and the supporter. It is also not permissible to say that the "I" exists in them, as before. The supported and the supporter are only the cause and effect, therefore, in the first case, when the "I" is the supported, because it is the cause, it is impermanent; in the second case, the "I" is the effect, so it will also become impermanent. Causes do not necessarily always have effects, so sometimes there will be no "I". Apart from the aggregates, the "I" is also not visible, because apart from the aggregates, it is like a rabbit's horn. "If it is non-different like fire and wood," if that is the case, then what you consider to be extremely impermanent, just as the nature of the wood itself disappears and becomes the nature of coal, those can be called fire. The "I" becoming the nature of the aggregates is also the same as this, it will commit the fault of what was said before, therefore the "I" does not exist. Similarly, the destroyer

Those heretics only assert plucking hair, wearing white clothes, and the clothes of the sky, etc., as ascetic practices, as well as the distinctions of gods and the treatises that reveal them, and liberation, the world, and the afterlife. However, according to their view, things are threefold in time. Similarly, it is also yogurt, and it is also whey, and whey also turns into yogurt, etc. These should be refuted as follows: If things are different, how can they be the same? If they are the same, then being different is unreasonable, and being both different and the same is contradictory. Therefore, according to those who say that they are both different and the same, it relies on mutual contradiction, so whatever is considered to be a person, etc., that will become impermanent as before. Even if gold, etc., becomes things like earrings, etc., the gold does not disappear, it is only a complete transformation. If it is said that all things are completely transformed and not destroyed, then it should be said that the so-called complete transformation is abandoning one's own nature and becoming another thing, and that itself is impermanent. If it is said that it is still the original gold, that is also unreasonable, because it is other. Wise people with discernment, because they recognize depletion and color, etc., therefore, the view that says it is both different and the same is unreasonable. The Carvakas are divided into two types from the perspective of emphasizing either knowledge or action. Among them, those who hold the part of the Carvakas who mainly emphasize knowledge are those who take abandoning karma and its result as the forerunner, holding three water pots, three Dharma robes, three staffs, going from one place to another, etc., considering all ascetic practices as asceticism, and those who make offerings and donations with offerings such as praising fire, etc., in a way that mainly emphasizes action, and shaving their hair, holding staffs, etc., holding ascetic practices, are worthy of ridicule.
