Connection is it the nature of the speaker and what is to be spoken? Is it the nature of words and meanings? Is it the nature of means and what arises from means? Is it the nature of cause and effect? That connection also transforms into six types: the Tathagata, the Goddess, the Bodhisattva, the Deva, the Asura, and the Human. Among these, like a great ocean without waves, the Bhagavan Vajradhara, free from all stains of conceptualization, like a fish in an unmoving sea, abides in the samadhi like an unmoving, luminous, self-existent vajra. Propelled by past aspirations and great compassion, in an instant, from the luminous light, he manifests like a rainbow. Then, in order to tame beings with the tendencies of desire, hatred, and ignorance, he manifests the five Tathagatas who are of the same nature, and dwells among them as the lord of the mandala. To guide future beings, he speaks the truth, which is the connection of the Tathagata. After that, in order to guide only beings with the tendencies of desire, he manifests the four Goddesses, and in asking about the Dharmadhatu and other matters, he speaks the truth, which is the connection of the Goddess. After that, he manifests the Bodhisattvas, and speaks the truth, which is the connection of the Bodhisattva. What is spoken in response to Indra's questions and other matters is the connection of the Deva. What is spoken with the Devas, Nagas, and Rishis as the chief recipients is the connection of the Deva and Asura. Teaching the Dharma to Gesar and others is the connection of the Human. Similarly, some say that the Bhagavan speaks to the Tathagatas, and the Tathagatas speak to the Goddesses, and so on, as a lineage. Here, it is the connection of the Tathagata, because the questioner of the Glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra is the Tathagata, and the explanation extracted from that Tantra is also of that nature. Therefore, even if there is no direct connection in sound and meaning, nevertheless...

That which is done by the discriminating consciousness with conceptualization is only existent, this has been examined by all the wise ones. Similarly, here too, With form and formless, dependent gate, Connection is thought of as two kinds. Sound and meaning connected are form, Listening and speaking are different from this. From the order of transmission coming, Buddha and other divisions. The second has six aspects, Those with intelligence say so. This is called the concluding verses. The necessity is to obtain the five stages, and the thinking itself, and the practice itself, and by the order of vajra recitation etc., to become the very form of glorious great Vajradhara, what is that? The necessity of the necessity is, by showing all sentient beings those stages through the door, or by the yoga of radiating light, to become the action of the great Vajradhara. Therefore, this is the explanation of the five, such as the speaker. Some only speak of the object to be spoken of and the necessity at the beginning of the treatise. Similarly, the temporary object to be spoken of is not something to be spoken of separately, because without sound, the treatise itself would not exist. The object to be spoken of should also only be that which is in accordance with the connection and has skillful means. The necessity of sound is only to show the object to be spoken of, otherwise it would not be itself. The necessity of the necessity is as before. The connection between sound and meaning, even if not spoken, should be understood through meaning. If it is not so, how can it be understood? Like this, if the words are not valid, how can the connection etc. be determined? For uncertain things, it is not reasonable for wisdom to enter in advance, because it would be too excessive. Indeed, temporarily doubt arises about the words. Doubt also has three types: doubt about meaning, doubt about non-meaning, and doubt about meaning and non-meaning. Among them, doubt about meaning is like digging for treasure under the ground. Doubt about non-meaning is like crossing a turbulent river with one's hands. Doubt about meaning and non-meaning is like practicing a corpse. Among them, doubting the meaning is a branch of entering. Non-meaning

Doubting what is truly existent is a branch of reversal. Doubting what is and is not is also a branch of reversal, therefore it is not reasonable to engage in doubt. If one enters into it later, practices the path of liberation, and directly realizes that very truth, then there is no fault whatsoever. Now, individuals should be analyzed. How many individuals have dominion over this exposition? There are five. What are those five? They should be stated: like a precious jewel, like sandalwood, like a lotus, like an উৎপལ་(Tibetan: utpala, Devanagari: উৎপলা, Romanized Sanskrit: utpala, Literal meaning: blue lotus), like a white lotus. Among them, the ignorant type is like sandalwood. The dull-witted are like উৎপལ་(Tibetan: utpala, Devanagari: উৎপলা, Romanized Sanskrit: utpala, Literal meaning: blue lotus). The medium-witted are like white lotuses. The sharp-witted are like lotuses. The very sharp-witted are like precious jewels. Therefore, four types of individuals are vessels for explaining the teachings to the assembly, and one is a vessel for explaining the teachings to disciples. Some say that there are four types of listeners: the ignorant, the doubters, the misinterpreters, and those with definite wisdom. The ignorant are of two types: those with minds like stones and those who wish to understand. Among them, those with minds like stones do not seek meaning and do not wish to believe, so they should be abandoned. The ignorant who wish to understand are those who listen to others' explanations, and they should be accepted. Their objects of ignorance will be reversed by the order of the treatises. Doubters are of two types: those who seek meaning and those who do not seek meaning. Among them, doubters who do not seek meaning cannot be grasped by any means, so they should be abandoned. Doubters who seek meaning can dispel doubt because they have already established valid cognition, and they should analyze treatises that possess correct valid cognition. Misinterpreters are those who have inverted views, and they are also of three types: the ignorant, those who wish to understand, and those who understand. Among them, the difference in the wisdom of the ignorant is the ignorance that has not arisen, and they do not wish to believe in reasoning and scriptures, which is different from those who are like stones.
