Therefore, wherever one dwells, in whatever manner one resides, one should regard that as one's own deity and contemplate on it with single-mindedness. Thus it is said. Similarly, again, having entertained the thought, 'What else is it like?', it is said: This is with words, yet well restrained; this is with enjoyment, yet without object; this is the protector of the world, yet becomes another's servant; whoever realizes this, all faults are exhausted. Thus it is said. Similarly, the yogi is with words, that is, even if he is endowed with various kinds of words such as speech, song, and victory, he is said to restrain speech and subdue speech in all circumstances, that is, he does not fixate on the discriminations of speech, because he does not fixate on sounds. Not fixating on sounds is because he comprehends luminosity. Similarly, enjoyment, that is, even if one is endowed with and related to the five objects of desire, it is said to be without object, that is, there is no close fixation on objects such as forms, because one sees them as pure by the nature of illusion-like samadhi. Thus, the Blessed One, with illusion-like samadhi, caused five hundred monks of the Hearer lineage, who had views with fixation, to enter into the reality of luminosity in a single instant. Thus it is heard in the Mahayana Sutra Pitaka. For example, the perfectly complete Buddha, the Blessed One, whose mindstream was moistened with the nectar of great compassion, saw five hundred Hearers abiding in the state of monks in a solitary place, and through the application of rays of light, emanated some men with the appearance of monks and spread them out. Then, they walked and went away, and in the middle of the road in the solitary place, they met those five hundred monks. They said: Venerable one, who are you? He said: There is no such thing as 'Venerable one.' They said: In terms of vows, are you old or young, or neither? He said to them: What is asceticism? Whose asceticism? What is old? What is young? They said: Where did you come from? Where are you going? He said: From nowhere did I come, and nowhere am I going, for who goes? Where does one go?

Said. They said, "Where do you live? What is your name and caste?" He said, "I do not live anywhere, and I have no name, caste, etc." They said, "What is your samadhi?" "I have no samadhi, I am just like this and that." Then, those monks, by the power of the Buddha's blessing, entered into the illusory samadhi that is free from going and coming in an instant, thereby realizing the nature of the true nature. Similarly, because he is the one who benefits the world, even though he is the protector of the world, he becomes a servant of other sentient beings, no different from a servant, because he has no pride. "For beings, like a child of an outcaste. Having abandoned pride and arrogance." And so on. Because of knowing the non-dual reality, it is the realization of it. Therefore, for whom all faults such as desire have been exhausted, it is called the ultimate. Now, from the perspective of the two samadhis, manifest enlightenment. The disciple who has received the instructions, from then on learns the two yogas, the order of complete holding, and the subsequent decomposition. Thus it is said. Having received the instructions from the guru, that is, the instructions on the stages of manifesting enlightenment, in order to show it, the two yogas, that is, to practice samadhi with two distinctions. One is the order of complete holding, and the second is the order of subsequent decomposition, which is what is shown, that is, as the words say. The explanation is: From the head to the feet, or until reaching the heart, the yoga correctly enters the end, it is called complete holding. Thus it is said. Writing letters on the eight-spoked wheel of Dharma at the navel, with the wisdom of all dharmas being without self, expanding from there, going above it, starting from the head and burning to the feet, then returning to the heart again, doing it like that, the yogi correctly enters the end, that is, the ultimate truth.
