Doubts, contradictions, and faults, etc., are cut off by firmly grasping and abiding at the limit, and that is what it is called. Just as with virtuous actions, so too with non-virtuous actions. From thinking it is not a non-virtuous action, up to the fault of doing much, one holds onto it in that way. Doubts about the nature of the mind being without inherent existence, and doubts about where virtuous and non-virtuous actions come from if there is no inherent existence, and doubts about whether it is pure if it arises, etc., are also completely cut off by this. The fifth chapter of the explanation of the Compendium of Practice Lamp is finished. Chapter Six: Cutting off Doubts about the Summary of Conventional Truth. Then, not knowing who the person is with the illusion-like samadhi, what the object is like, what fruit is obtained, etc., one asks. The answer is that the suchness of the deity is the suchness of the deity. The inconceivable is the scripture and its form. Who spoke it? All the Buddhas spoke it, not someone else. What comes from the lineage of the gurus is the word of the Buddha, which comes from the guru, not from another. Whose realm is it? The lord of the ten bhumis is the bodhisattva of the ten bhumis, but it is not their realm because it is very profound. What are the ten bhumis? The ten bhumis of the general cloud of dharma, because they have already abided in learning the union, so it is not. Then what is it? It is the supreme subtle dharma, because they have not trained in it, so it is not their realm. Why is this also called a bhumi? Because it is to be made stable, because one relies on this to go upwards. It is also said to be a bhumi because of going and enjoying. Now you must understand it, meaning that you must understand it to the extent that I have understood it. One's own mind is one's own awareness, and being in accordance with the meaning is truth. 'As it is' means how it abides. Fully knowing it is not ignorance. The aggregates, elements, and sense bases are also without, because the nature is emptiness. Because the nature is empty, it is empty after being destroyed, etc.
