This purifies food. Āḥ (藏文, 梵文天城体, 梵文罗马拟音, 汉语字面意思) is the very realization. Oṃ (藏文, 梵文天城体, 梵文罗马拟音, 汉语字面意思) is the very act of causing to blaze. Hūṃ (藏文, 梵文天城体, 梵文罗马拟音, 汉语字面意思) is the very act of purifying. Or, conversely, as appropriate. Food is placed in a state of non-discrimination, such as the five meats, etc. Or purifying the crown of the head, the throat, and the heart, is the act of making suitable. The rest is easy to understand. Then, the collection of letters is taught. From where is this collection of letters known? As mentioned in the "Intentions and Prophecies," etc. This is placed in the realm of the assembly circle, and the nine mandalas of deities made by yogis are the main ones. In the center of that, the essence of the first family, the only one, is the Great Vajradhara. This also does not change into ten. Or, even if one enjoys meat and the ten nectars, one is not bound by it, because one is free from its thoughts. This is called unbound, which means without attachment, and is placed in the realm of arising from letters. Or, the first is six letters, one of which is the letter A. "In the middle of the nine" means in the middle of the nine, with the distinction of long and short sections of wisdom. "What is not bound by ten" means that there is no tenth section for this. Knowing that is the supreme state, which is the cause of attaining the supreme. Or, the first one is the seed of the mind of enlightenment, in the form of the letter A. This dwells in the middle of the nine openings, inside the heart. There is nothing here that has become ten openings. That is the supreme abode, the navel chakra. A bound to sa is A and what follows. Showing the distinction of knowing that. "Whoever knows that is the mind of beings." That is, whoever, through what means, perfects the three wisdoms.

It should be definitely combined with Om. That is, based on Hum (Tibetan: ཧཾ་) and Sha (Tibetan: ཀྵ་), etc., here the yogi should learn to exhale, inhale, and abide. What are the three letters? Am (Tibetan: ཨཱཾ་) is Am (Tibetan: ཨཱཾ་), which is abiding. The long sound is Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ་). Combining merits is prolonging life, etc., which is Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་). The short sound is short A (Tibetan: ཨ་), which is the cause of all speech and abides together. If speaking from the ultimate truth, what is meant by "letter"? Not one, not many, separated from the aspects of one and many. As for "with the meaning of Ya (Tibetan: ཡ་), anything is possible," Ya (Tibetan: ཡ་) is wind, and by relying on the secret wind, all fierce actions will be accomplished. The rest has been explained above. The suchness of mantra is the suchness of mantra because it shows the mantra without error. Among them, not understanding where the "short sound" is, one asks, and the answer is "here the scriptures are explained," etc., meaning this world is where the Tathagatas expound the scriptures, listen, read, recite, etc. As for "first stating the words of grammar," it means first stating the sound, things, and actions, etc., of grammar, and only following the meaning of the sound stated first, meaning only clinging to the sound and not clinging to the meaning. If one clings to the meaning of the letter, it is not like pointing at the moon with a finger, but not clinging to the meaning. Why? Because it is the realm of the Buddhas, showing that it is not the realm of non-supreme beings. Then, what is the nature of sound? Therefore, it is said that sound is the nature of Ali and Kali, etc., meaning all that is spoken is the essence of Ali and Kali. What are Ali and Kali? Therefore, Ali is A, etc., because there are sixteen, so there are sixteen. Kali is Ka, etc., seven groups, because there are thirty-three, so there are thirty-three. The rest is easy to understand. The meaning of Ka and the sound that shows it, etc., arise from A, how is that known? Therefore, the Bhagavan said in the Lankavatara Sutra.

It is said that such and so on. Here it is said that it is only mentioned in the Lankavatara Sutra, but it is not so, it should be added "only mentioned". For the sake of giving examples. It is easy to understand that someone and so on. Words and speech and so on are names, letters and treatises. What is the difference or characteristic of them? In reply, it is this "A" and so on. Among them, "A" is the indestructible bindu, which is the source of all sounds. If it is said that it is meaningful, it is not, because there are other proofs. As it is also said in the Sutra of Praising the Names, it is easy to understand. Whoever definitely declares the name and characteristics of something, it is called "such". "A is the most excellent of all letters", which means that from which letter it becomes the most excellent, that is the most excellent of all letters, because it can produce and spread all letters. It itself is explained as: "The meaning is great, it is a sacred letter." This is because it has the qualities of showing special meaning, producing, obtaining, and so on. "It comes from the heart, there is no birth." It means that what comes from the heart comes from the heart, it comes from the hearts of people. "Abandon the expression of words." It means that it transcends the expression of language. "It is the most excellent of the sources of all expressions." It means that the place where all vowels and consonants arise is called "such". "Make everything very clear." It means to make all sounds clear and distinct. It is said that it was said by the Great Sage. Because there are clearer explanations in other proofs, it is said: "Therefore" and so on. All the doors of meditation are methods, by which it becomes a method to obtain the Dharma-nature of all Dharmas, it is called "such". Its words are the collection of sounds that show it. What are its roots and characteristics? It's "A". So, what is its own characteristic like? It is unborn, and for whoever is free from birth, that is unborn. The so-called "unborn" is only to prevent the nominal existence, but not to establish the nominal non-existence.
