The term "not well practiced." Explanation of the fourth chapter. Fifth, it teaches that when one arises from the true limit, etc. Arising from the samadhi of emptiness, one understands the nature of the two truths, inseparable from the nature of self-luminousness. One enters fully into the samadhi of the completion stage, and thus speaks of what is called non-dual wisdom, etc. Non-dual wisdom is that in which the characteristics of the two, the grasped and the grasper, or the characteristics of discriminating between existence and non-existence, are not present; that is non-dual wisdom. To attain it means to find it, that is, to differentiate it. The term union, etc. When the samadhi of union, at that time, only when the non-dual wisdom abides, one does not need to learn anything, because it is complete, there is no dharma to be learned. It is like a teacher striking an enemy with a whip. Thus, if one realizes the completion stage through the generation stage, then for the sake of guiding disciples who are well-trained and not well-trained, the five stages are clearly shown through the very nature of mantra, deity, self, and mudra. Among them, speech discrimination is the very nature of mantra, that is, the very nature of wind. The very nature of deity is the first stage. Focusing on the mind is the very nature of self, the second. The stage of self-blessing is the very nature of mudra, the third. Manifestly attaining enlightenment and union are the nature of the result. Therefore, if there is no body discrimination, there is no samadhi of speech discrimination. If there is not that, there is no understanding of mind discrimination. If there is not that, there is no entering into conventional truth. If there is not that, there is no preceding ultimate truth. If there is not that, one cannot directly realize the stage of union. Thus, one should learn through this stage. The explanation of the fifth stage, briefly stated, is complete. Now, with two verses, the benefits of the samadhi of union are taught. This is, etc. This,
