If it is said that the one with characteristics pervades the essence of formlessness, being free from coming and going, then how does it expand and contract from the body day and night? Who makes the union here? Who is without mind? From where are the hundred and sixty natures, such as desire, non-desire, and the intermediate between desire, experienced? Please, Bhagavan Vajra Acharya, the teacher, explain this. The Vajra Acharya said: The three consciousnesses are without root, without dwelling, without basis, without characteristics, without color or shape, and beyond the senses, this is true. However, they are with appearance, and therefore they unite with the wind element, because the wind element, though formless, shows actions such as shaking and moving, which should be understood through inference. Similarly, the appearance of consciousness is also formless, and should be inferred from natures such as desire, non-desire, and the intermediate between desire, therefore it is to be inferred. As it is said in the Sutra of the Transfer of Consciousness: "Well-guarded, for example, the wind element, though not having form, can be indicated but not grasped, from which it appears as having form." Among these, what can be indicated is the shaking of trees, the uttering of loud noises, and the arising of feelings from the touch of cold and heat, but one cannot determine the hands, feet, eyes, and face, nor can one particularly determine colors such as whiteness. Well-guarded, similarly, this realm of consciousness cannot be determined as having form, nor will it appear as having form, but the realm of consciousness should be understood through the distinctions of your causes. Therefore, the subtle elements and the appearing consciousness are formless, mixing like butter mixed into butter, thereby completely accomplishing all transmundane activities. As it is said in the Supreme Intent: "The wisdom of mere self-awareness is like the sky, without characteristics. Yet it has distinctions, the interval is the lord of day and night. Appearance and the birth of appearance, thus one who has obtained appearance, the mind."

It is said in three ways. The basis of that is to be explained. Subtle form wind and, wisdom and are mixed. Having arisen from the middle path, it becomes the object of focus for the realms. When there is appearance, it is the mount of wind. At that time, all those natures, arise without remainder or residue. Wherever and wherever the wind dwells, it follows that nature and there. Thus it is said. In order to clarify this meaning, wisdom arises in an instant, like the appearance of the sky, blazing intensely, pervading the ten directions. It is said with this thought. How does wisdom arise in an instant? An instant and a moment, and a while, and a blink of an eye, and a clap of the hands, is the meaning of what is called appearance arising. Like the appearance of the sky, it is called the sky is to make clear, therefore the sky is to make clear. With a meaning similar to that meaning, the three appearances that pervade the ten directions and blaze intensely appear, called the sky appearance is not a firefly. Therefore, from entering the subtle realm, an instant and, a moment and, a while and, a blink of an eye and, a clap of the hands, the appearance moves. Then from an instant and, a moment and, a while and, a blink of an eye and, a clap of the hands, the natures will be successively experienced. What is without mind? It is ignorance. Therefore, it will arise without remainder. Then, through the cause of the wind element, the natures, mutually, one to another, the enjoyment of the objects, all without remainder or residue, day and night, will be successively experienced in one's own continuum and in the continuum of others. Thus, the yogi who has realized the distinction between the appearance of nature and the mount of wind, will know the movements of the minds of all sentient beings who have arisen in the past and, the future and, the present. As the Bhagavan said, in the sutra requested by the king of the demi-gods, the tree, the perfectly complete Buddha possesses unobstructed wisdom and vision. What is the reason for that? Son of the lineage, all sentient beings' past mind stream exhausted and, ceased and, separated and, transformed all
